WiFi was a bit hit and miss but probably typical for Montville in general. But host did their best to get it going.

We stayed in Amelies Petit Maison, a self contained separate cottage. It had everything we could want. Nice private balcony with large bath and beautiful views. Very comfortable King size bed. Excellent breakfast delivered to our door every morning. Wonderful hosts. Highly recommend.

everything! what a dreamy space and the hand delivered breakfast in a basket surpassed anything i have ever had before. my son and i were stranded due to floods and after 7 hours of driving , walking into our room i have never felt better. the hosts were amazing and allowed us to stay second nite , at a reduced rate as we were still stranded. and they arent usually open on sunday nites.. we cant wait to bring the whole family back here. breathtaking views and surrounds.. thank you guys

I couldn't stay for longer!

Everything! The facilities were clean with gorgeous rooms. So quiet with rolling hills, farmland and amazing wild life. It was so nice waking up each day to a delicious breakfast with home-made baked goods and everything else! Staff were so kind and friendly. 10/10!

The ability to wash our glasses and cups every day would have been helpful - just needed dishwashing liquid and cloth/tea towel

1 thing i did not liked was the the room above us . The people on that room was very noisy. The place is wooden floor amd old style so every step they did was was so lound. And i couldn't sleep.

Bed was confotabale enough, but a little bit too soft for what we are used to.

Breakfast was amazing, fresh home made ganola, fresh pastries and fresh yopgurt and juice. Beautiful. The views and surrounds are great, and very short drive or long walk to a local general store and pizza bar which was great. There is a good sized communal lounge area that would be good for group to hang out together in. Only short drive to Montville town centre

Absolutely perfect. Wonderful hosts. They cannot do enough for you. Their hospitality is outstanding. We love 'The Spotted Chook'. We have been before (need to go more often!) We recommend this beautiful and peaceful retreat to everyone wanting a 'country escape'. The Montville and surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful. Lovely walks and views. Small kitchenette - something basic such as a bench and sink and a room microwave would have complemented the tea making facilities. This would simplify having a basic meal in house and washing dishes. Alternatively set communal dining room up with permanent microwave and crockery and cutlery.

Breakfast was excellent - exceeded expectations. Aspect of accommodation was breathtaking. Themed accommodation created a great atmosphere.
