The most expensive tent I have ever stayed in.

Cool for a tent due to the AC. An oasis in the middle of the desert.

Shower/toilet facility floors often a bit wet and muddy, but difficult to manage this I would think.

Comfortable beds in the tents, loved the environment and landscapes.

The tents were very closely spaced together and noise from adjoining tents was loud - but in part the blame goes to the noisy neighbour at 4am!

Great location, facilities good, tents well set up and location very central. Staff were great and really informative.

Would have liked more vegetarian options at Cantina and restaurant.

The location is beautiful and accommodation options include camping, caravans or Riverview rooms. We loved our Riverview rooms. They were comfortable with balcony overlooking the river. Bedroom was good size with bar fridge and air conditioner. The bathroom was large and well appointed with lovely toiletries. The rooms were adjacent to the Steakhouse Grill and Art Gallery and only a short walk to Bar and Cantina for casual dining.

The trouble was that my emails indicated I was staying at Emma Gorge which is upmarket accommodation. However the actual accommodation was 35 k away......and needing to cross a wide deep creek....not possible in a standard car.

Didn't realise the location is 4WD ONLY. My small SUV made it almost into the resort but not across last river crossing. Had to wade across, knee deep river (lost me phone in process) and walk into resort. Only 500m walk but didn't realise i'd be walking in a river to get there.

location is nice. Staff were wonderful, really helpful when I came upon a few minor issues. Glamping tent really comfortable, big - would absolutely stay again

    1. If you're driving, El Questro is only accessible by a 4WD vehicle with high ground clearance. 2. No Vodafone or WiFi in the accommodation -- bring a Telstra dongle. 3. The tours can book out! I don't recall reading this information above on the website or communiques.

Stayed in the Riverside cabin -- a very nice place to stay for three nights. No TV, but no problem -- these days you travel with devices. Room was spacious, and the complimentary tea and coffee came with biscuits -- a nice touch. The meals at The Swinging Arm bar were nice -- the Hawaiian pizza & the beer burger were my favourites. The El Questro staff were excellent.

We stayed in the tents and in September it is particularly hot but with a fan they were more than comfortable at night time to sleep in and have great beds. The kids loved their tent. Not ideal to use during the heat of the day but we were swimming or hiking and ate at the restaurant anyway so it didn't matter as we were not in them.

Tour group were right next to our tents. They got up early and were laughing, calling out to each other and being really noise. Maybe groups need to be reminded others are sleeping at 6.15am.

Staff were lovely. Bar was a great , entertainment and food were good. Tents were basic but comfortable.

We booked a tent that was air-conditioned, which was not required, the lights didn't work and paid $320. Alll the tents were on top of each other. You could hear everybody talking and snoring. For the price, a bit of room would of been nice. Not very happy. Had to pay for a day pass and because we were there for a night, we had to pay for a week pass. How is that fair. Too many people squashed in the van park. Not a good stay at all. Very disappointed with El Questro. Couldn't get out of there quickly enough.

The meal, except they didn't have everything on the menu.
