    Nothing

We had the most amazing stay. Such a wonderful, super comfortable, stylish and well appointed cottage. There is nothing that we needed, that was wasn't provided, and in fact it surpassed all our expectations. The fireplace inside warmed up the place quickly and we enjoyed every moment. The ample breakfast was lovely too. We cannot recommend the Storekeeper's highly enough.

    All good

The breakfast provided was really lovely, fresh local produce. The original stone cottage was beautifully renovated and fitted out. Great to be able to visit their wallet farm and walk around. The owners were lovely and very helpful with local information.

    Nothing

Absolutely everything, the home is beautifully done out with all the comforts one would want. The provided breakfast was outstanding and very generous and the bathroom products were of a high standard. The property is located in a quite area just off the main highway, giving convenience but a feeling like being in the country.

Magnificent sandstone cottage, beautifully furnished and decorated. Exceptional offering of snacks, food, and drinks on hand to ensure that breakfast and dinner can be resolved in style without leaving the house. We stayed for just one night and regretted not having a second to properly enjoy the house. Wood fires inside and outdoor fire pit were ready to be lit if needed for heating. Location makes for an excellent base from which to explore the vineyards and beaches on the East Coast, up to Bicheno, and also as a final night of a Tassie stay if flying out of Hobart and returning a rental car (easy 45 min drive to airport). Buckland is a very tidy village in a beautiful setting with other attractive buildings and beautifully kept gardens.

Breakfast - food supplied was great - including fresh produce. Limited food available for meals in the area - frozen food (for purchase) available in the freezer and pantry. Also a thoughtful selection of beverages available for purchase.

    Nothing really

We loved the homeliness of the cottage - there were ready made meals available in the fridge and a fully stocked kitchen. There were also 2 indoor fires all set up as well as an outdoor fire pit including complimentary marshmallows for toasting. The hosts provided us with lots of information before and during our stay which helped us to plan our stay and trip to Maria Island the next day.

Nothing we can think of :)

We loved the individuality of this accommodation with its history of the original Storekeepers cottage, its fireplaces, quaint furnishings, blend of old and new, well stocked fridge and freezer if wanted and the location in the middle of nowhere yet not far from Hobart. We stayed here as it was close enough to Triabunna for a day trip to Maria Island without staying in the town itself. The few locals of this drive-through village were very friendly as were the owners of the property. Enjoyed the attention to detail throughout, comfortable beds, the bathing supplies (cleansers and lotions) and general warmth and cleanliness.

We should have stayed longer, but seriously there was nothing that we didn't like.

From the moment we arrived, we were transported back in time. The stone walls, unique layout, and antique furnishings gave the cottage a cozy and charming atmosphere. The attention to detail was evident throughout the cottage and it was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought and care into making sure every detail was perfect. Heaters located throughout the cottage kept the rooms warm and snug throughout the chilly night. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we had a sound, restful sleep. Despite the old-world charm, the cottage had all the modern amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a hot shower and Wi-Fi. Located in a beautiful rural setting, we enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding countryside. The cottage was easy to find, and we had a lovely welcoming visit from the owner ensuring we had everything we needed including an assortment of choices for breakfast which were included.
