How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Given the place is set up for two couples with two bedrooms, each with a king bed, it would have been good to have two sets of keys.
A lovely two bedroom apartment in a great location. Very stylish. Well equipped kitchen. Easy parking and check-in.

Some seat cushions for the outdoor chairs would have been nice.
Lovely property, very spacious with all amenities. The bathrooms were very nice. We took my Aunt away for a treat and she absolutely loved it. Having an en-suite for each bedroom is a must for us and so The Deco apartment suited us perfectly. The huge balcony overlooking the Main Street was lovely to sit on for our morning coffee and croissant.

Hot water took ages to get hot and the oven didn’t work
Apt is very well setup in beautiful French provincial style, had lovely accessories in bathrooms. Apt is right in the middle of town with easy access to cafes restaurants and local shops. Parking right outside. If I’m ever in this part of the world again I’d definitely stay here.

The length of our stay, it should have been longer.
Great location on the main street of Margaret River. Light filled apartment very clean, large living space and fabulous kitchen. Airconditioned with shutters to cut out the main street sounds and lights at night. Parking at the back and very close to restaurants, supermarkets, and shops.

It would be better to explain that the parking is behind. It was difficult to find to place at night. The TV internet was a bit slow but internet for phone was fine.
The location is perfect; Parking is plenty. It is very clean. feels like home. perfect for 4 people even 2 couples. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom.

Oven wasn’t fully functional, but the host is addressing that minor issue.
Wonderful location in Margaret River township, heart of the town and close to shops, cafes and restaurants. However, the apartment is also very quiet.

Love the location & quality of the fittings in the apartment. Huge apartment with 2 very comfy beds, all the amenities you require in the kitchen and new bathrooms too. Very clean and massive balcony which overlooks the main street with a shady tree so you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the afternoon and evening.

Superb location - walking distance to the Tourism Office, shops, grocery stores and dining options. Could not get a better location! the apartment was superbly appointed; kitchen facilities/supplies, bathroom and laundry facilities and bed linens etc. We didn't want for anything.

I thought I had booked the apartment with the outdoor setting overlooking the street but the alfresco was at the back and not great to sit outside. A few problems with the TV set up as the the instructions didn't quite follow and you need to use three remotes. A flow chart with screen shots showing the set up would be more beneficial as I lost a whole nights viewing.
check in was very simple. The apartment is very spacious with all comforts you need.
