Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

QatarIt needs vacuuming and might be good if the put a vacuum stick or broom in each rooms. The washing machine is not working when we stay.
The property is located near everything. It is not big but enough to accommodate a family of four. I like that it is self checkin and checkout. Cooking utensils are available so it is very convenient since theres not much of takeaway places available.

AustraliaWe have stayed reasonably often. Sad to see a general lack of general care of premises. Gardens dead and untidy. Motel car park loaded with leaf litter, which we kept taking into room on our shoes. Room had nice fresh bed but loo had unflushed matter and there was a black nest of some sort above the exit door. This is not meant as a complaint but observation. Our 1st visit here had a wow factor all round...no so for the last few visits. We sincerely hope our feedback is helpful.

AustraliaThe parking space for the unit wasn't marked and was taken up by other vehicles so we had to park in the main hotel carpark. The only way to fill up the kettle was to use one of the bowls to pour water into it because thge room under the basin tap is too tight. The breakfast bowls were way too small for a good hearty meal.
The north facing patio outside the room was good for drying our regatta sailing clothes. The room was clean, bright and adequate for our needs.
