Airconditioning units needed to be cleaned as they were a bit dusty.

Good customer service .....i checked out early and my flight got cancelled. Duty manager got me in for the night without any dramas.

The lifts would say level 16 the entire time. So you never actually knew what floor you were on. Balconies are outdated and not super useable

The apartment could have been cleaner. Bathrooms were quite dusty. The kitchen could have used a frypan as one of the cooking utensils. It was also odd that an apartment that could sleep 4 people, only has 3 breakfast bowls.

The hotel is looking a bit tired and could do with some maintenance. The lift does not show which floor you are on whilst moving and randomly took us to the basement instead of stopping on the ground floor.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The beds and pillows were comfortable.

That there was 1 face washer in main bathroom for 2 ppl, not sure about the ensuite. And there was no dish cloths to wipe bench or to wash dishes. And think tooth paste and shower cap would be more important than shoe polish and sewing kit. main bathroom was smaller and wasn't able to place bath mat and open shower door. Was only 2 small car parking spots when we arrived at 4pm and signage wasn't very good to find parking lot or the intercom, and didn't realise the breakfast included was down the road. Oh and when booking online said we could have a 2 shared beds or 1 shared and 2 singles, I requested 2 singles and 1 shared or if possible 4 singles and got 2 shared beds, so all of us had to share with our friends and a double was small for us.

The Decor was lovely and kitchen too. Was nice having 2 bathrooms

The location was perfect for my movements over the two days I was in Sydney. The bed was super comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure and the general cleanliness and feel of the place was perfect for what I needed.

Initially we were put in a very poorly furnished and ill-equipped apartment. As a complimentary upgrade from a studio apt through Booking.com we felt we were allocated the worst 1 bed apartment in the building. The hotel was full on night one, but once we voiced our disappointment re the room the next day the staff were very helpful and pleasant in offering us another room. Not charging for a bottle of wine we had on day one was appreciated. The quality of the second 1 bed apartment was far superior to the first one and made the remainder of our stay very pleasant. we hope the York management remove apt 806 from their books until a thorough renovation has been done. It reflects very poorly on an otherwise very good quality establishment.

The location is very convenient to the harbour and the CBD. The pool area is very pleasant and nicely landscaped. Spa, sauna and gym are great extras. The apartment we were relocated to was very attractive, comfortable and had all the kitchen accessories to enhance our stay. The balconies at the York, some with glimpses of the harbour bridge activity, are a unique part of staying here.

The kitchen needs to be fitted out to accommodate 6 people. There were only 3 coffee mugs and 2 wine glasses in an apartment that sleeps 6 people. No teaspoons at all .

Shower had a lot of mould in the grout. Came back to room late one afternoon and found a used spoon with rice on it in the sink. Very random. I had not used a spoon or eaten rice.
