Beautiful guesthouse in a great location. We were warmly welcomed by the host Jacqueline and felt at home from the very first moment. Superbly equipped kitchen with everything you need. We would love to come back!

Shower didn’t get warm water - bright sunlight woke me up too early as no door on ensuite Difficult to see if arriving late on a wet evening Couldn’t get the front door to lock on leaving but owner was responsive when I advised

Location, style and the fat we had a fully functioning house to use as our own and share with other guests. Both Jacqueline and Dave were the best and made us feel super welcome while we were there.

We had the most amazing stay at Timbertop for Life. Jacqueline made us feel so incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to make out stay as amazing as it was. The shared areas were clean and tidy. Our room was beautiful with a four post bed, chaise lounge and an en suit bathroom. It is only a 20 min walk (approx) from the beach. Lots of shops and places to eat nearby. Location was ideal for us. Cannot recommend Timbertop for Life enough. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Super friendly and helpful host. The Mexican Beach suite was tastefully decorated and really gave a relaxing, vacation-like vibe. We enjoy our stay and would highly recommend the place for future visitors to the Gold Coast.

Absolutely Everything! This is such a lovely modern property with beautiful decor and amazing big deck. So well equipped and felt very homely. Hosts were super friendly and welcoming. We would definitely love to come back and stay.

Great location as 10 to 15 min walk to Burleigh head beach and shops, one of the cleanest places we have stayed, spacious rooms and toilet / shower across the hall. Jackie the host was really friendly and showed us everything we needed! The huge shared kitchen and lounge was an added bonus! Would recommend highly !

The road close by was noisy owing to roadworks. Although the Mexican suite has a private bathroom I hadn't realized it wasn't ensuite. Other rooms do have ensuite bathrooms.

A fantastic house, beautifully decorated with everything you could need for a stay. We stayed in the Mexican suite. Great being able to have a dip in the pool too.

The room was amazing! It was clean and very stylish, the bathroom as well. The bed was perfect and huge! The kitchen had everything we needed and we could eat our meals on the deck with a gorgeous view. Perfect for a good BBQ session. There were two bikes we could use to get to the beach and explore the area. We had a lovely stay and would love to come back! Thanks Jaqueline!

It was all good.

I had the room with ensuite attached. Lovely , large, light spacious, spotlessly clean rooms and deck. Good secure area for dog which was warmly welcomed. Kitchen, coffee area looked great but I didn’t have a need to use it. Keyed door was clearly explained and easy to use. Nice neighbourhood. Gracious, helpful hostess, Jaqueline.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

This place has everything you need and you can see that the host cares about the guests wellbeing - the rooms are very nice and clean and the furniture and decoration makes you feel like home - the common area (kitchen, living room and terasses) is well equipped with all the little extras you won’t find in a traditional hotel. The welcoming and introduction to the room and the facilities was outstanding- very friendly and nice hosts.I will definitely stay there next time I’m in Gold Coast area

If you are lucky enough to stay here you won't want to leave.We stayed in the Mexican Suite. Wonderful hosts, fantastic shared facilities too. Better than home away from home. We will be back!
