Kitchen was a dump. About 10 different Cooktops but close to none of them actually work. Tried to cook eggs on multiple working stoves, gave up after 45 mins. I’m an Aussie and was disgusted they expect visitors to live like this. Give the people a working kitchen especially after a long days work on the farm.

Location is close to the shops. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of showers so didn’t have to wait. Also met the cleaner and he was a gem, so polite to everyone he bumped into & even seen some girls doing some first aid and offered to help them.

Found bedbugs so they moved us to another room. Had to ask for pillowcases, top sheet and ac remote. Hostel was a bit worn out, floor felt a bit sticky and dirty. Bathroom and showers were downstairs whereas all the dorms upstairs. Absolutely no accessories in the kitchen and they didn't tell us. Imagine our surprise when we arrived with newly bought groceries Had a weird encounter with two creepy guys when I went to the bathroom late in the evening

Bedrooms were dirty. My bedding was not clean. My bed had no pillows or duvet upon arriving. Unsocial. Stupid rules.

The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Rory the Receptionist assisted me to amend a booking and was very helpful. The cleaning are staff are wonderful and always say hello. If you want a delightful Bulgolgi ask James the owner to cook it for you. Very delicious and a traditional Korean meal at its best. The Barista's are wonderful coffee makers. The cafe is a little gem of Bundaberg.

Everything, solo house share▪︎ Rooms stink like old vomit. shower had lots of mould, not clean. Beds uncomfortable, springs stick into your body. Sheets are used with stains. No supplies,eg-no shared iron and no glasses..etc. No internet supplied even after asking, they said "not till Monday when leaving on Sunday, most travellers need internet. Booked a room and they changed our rooms around, so I asked for room for my daughter near me they couldn't do it so she had to share my room paid $75 for a room for no reason, annoyed, waste of money. Free breakfast was only sat, not Sunday, and was a waste of time, as food was half the size of my hand and almost broke my teeth on the bread, yuk. Also, if you're vegetarian or gluten-free, don't get free breakfast. Over all, horrible place to stay. Don't stay!

The owners - Candice and James are very accommodating and made sure my stay was pleasant. The cafe next door owned by the Tomato Backpackers (James's place) is amazing. Food is delicious and the barista - Tara - makes the most superb coffees. The food is amazing, the eggs benedict is cooked to perfection. All other staff are lovely, the cleaners are professional and offer their assistance if you need anything.

GUYS DONT BELIEVE A THING ON THERE WEBSITE. ITS ALL BS THERE ARE NO ROOMS WITH OWN SHOWER AND PRIVATE TOILET,NOT PRIVATE BALCONY. THEY CHARGED ME 120 ONE NIGHT. YES I GOT A PRIVATE ROOM IN A 4 BUNK ROOM.NO COOKER OR PRIVATE TOILET. I COULD OF GOT THE SAME FOR LEES THAN 90. NO ONE AT RECEPTION HAD TO WAIT HOUR AND HALF 4.30PM

Dirty place. Trash bins full, sheets and pillows clearly not cleaned. Hair and dirt in toilets and showers. The personnel at reception hardly talk to you. It is cheap but no price is low enough to justify this. I found another accommodation after one night and when I went to pick my stuff my card was not working and there was no one at reception. I think workers stay there long term.

There were problems with getting my payment through (wasn't their fault, I used a german creditcard) and that resulted in a difficult check-in. Luckily, we were able to figure it out the next morning :)

Incredibly dirty, areas around door handles seemed to have accumulated dirt over years on them, showers and toilets were dirty, kitchen was smelly and dirty. Staff barely turned their heads to talk to us and when we arrived at 19pm, they hadn't even made our beds, which eventually took them an hour. Would have been nice to know that there is no breakfast on Sundays _before_ paying for stay with breakfast.
