It had nice communal spaces and kept super clean. Loved the colourful painted walls and decor, gave a fun and homey environment. The room was just what we needed to relax and staff were friendly and informative during our stay in Cairns.

Hostel was very central, had a great vibe about it, dorm was very spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They organised all my tours prior to arriving, which was really good and made my trip very easy. I would definitely stay there again. Great value for money.

Nothing we didn't like.

Early check-in was so good as we landed in Cairns at 6am and just wanted to shower and relax which we could do! The staff were friendly, the room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable in the room we had. Before checking in and when we checked out the next day we could also store our bags for a few hours which was super helpful. Overall its a very nice place to stay.

A beautiful place, with wooden verandahs, lots of palm trees and beautifully decorated. A work of art. Lots of common areas, so it's easy to meet other travelers, and also easy to find a quiet spot if you want a moment to yourself. Very relaxed atmosphere. Clean and comfortable.

The staff is not present 24 hours. They are available in the morning and evening. No one in the middle of the day, and no one after 7 pm. Insert $1 coins to run the air conditioner. A new experience for me. So, kind of weird. Haven't seen anything like this before.

Room, bathroom, kitchen were all clean. The home has many bathrooms. Overall, I liked the relaxed environment, staff, cleanliness. But the staff is not present 24 hours, that it the main downside.

My single bedroom was super comfy, had lots of hangers and big working fridge and really strong air con (you have to pay a dollar for 3 hours, but it cools the room down in that time). The hostel itself has a really nice chilled out vibe. Lovely pool area with nice decorations. Bathrooms and kitchen always clean. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. There’s everything you need here.

It’s close to the train station, but it’s a little walk to the esplanade where the main things in Cairns are.

Very clean facilities, with plenty of toilets / showers to use. I liked that there were little pods of rooms, kitchens and showers, and the outdoor area is great.

I found it difficult to engage with people there. Everyone was just doing their own thing and no one was really talking to each other. Very good for quiet people who want to getaway from the city! A bit too quiet for me personnally as I’m a very social person. But definitely recommend if quiet is what you’re looking for.
