Staying at a beautiful resort in high humidity I would question why the pool needs to be heated so highly. I would think you would be looking to cool down and not heat up. Just my thoughts although the pool and surrounds are beautiful.

The resort was lovely, with all of the amneties you need for a multi day stay without leaving at all. But if you wanted to venture out, the location was excellent, only a couple or mins walk to the beach or a few mins drive to the town centre.

The property wasn’t ready at 2pm as the cleaner had a mix up. But once she has realised her mistake she worked fast to fix it and had it ready quite quickly. We were able to wait by the pool and get a drink while waiting.

Was in a nice resort which had a pool, restaurant and more. Was a close walk to the beach.

Car park can get full early, but there is ample parking outside on the grass.

Everything, the property exceeded our expectations. Sonia was extremely friendly and accommodating which made our trip ever better! Would happily stay at Sonia’s again!

The room was lovely and spacious. it was clean and tidy also. The resort as a whole was amazing! There was a heated pool, games and activities and a lovely cafe/restaurant! Would highly recommend.

In all honesty I couldn’t fault anything

This accomodation was perfect for us. Port Douglas has a lot to see and do but we could have just as easily stayed here the whole trip. But the most impressive part of this accommodation is the lovely host, Sonia. She was so helpful, kind and friendly. She gave us a lot of tips for things to do in Port Douglas. Don't stand on pool filters from any height as they can shatter. Learned this the hard way. The bikes that were offered as part of our stay and a private room were not road worthy, so that was disappointing. Owner said if I had contacted her she wasn't too far away and would have come. I did initially send an email but it came back, so we didn't bother after that - only there for 2 days. No apology offered when I finally offered feedback, with defensive Body Corporate fights issues cited as to why the bikes were kept out in all weather - rusted chains. Anyway, taken off the site for this room now. Be aware that hiring a private room doesn't really have you entered into Ramada's system...that can lead to some confusion.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus were good with some Vg and V options. A little bit unorganised with booking made redundant as were weren't remembered. But fortunately, there weren't a lot of diners when we showed up. Ensure those taking your orders repeat your order to avoid doubled up items. Pool was great. Closer to the beach but a bit far from the city. If you can get access to a bike, there's some nice back roads/paths to ride on.

Pool needed to be heated up a bit earlier after summer.... Was a tad cold.

Sonia's room was lovely and clean, fabulous bed, heaps of pillows and towels, little complementaries which gave a lovely touch. The full size fridge was well used and the Netflix was a great bonus. She even called to offer a mid stay free clean up and was really friendly to speak to. Fabulous host.
