Great location right on the river and very close to town. The facility was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. Walking straight out onto the deck overlooking the river and lots of birds was a bonus.

The blind on one window did not provide full privacy. The bathroom floor got very wet after showering.

Access to the room was great and the outlook across the Blackwood River and surrounding bushland is stunning. The bird life is wonderful with an overall retreat-like feel to the accommodation.

Not having undercover parking with our room. Bird droppings on our new car is not good news, but a quick clean each morning, kept the duck sparkling!

Nice large room with tv/sitting area and kitchenette Outside area overlooking the slope down to the Blackwood River. So peaceful, relaxing and therapeutic. Wake to the sound of birds . Sit and watch them feeding outside your room (owner Jenny puts bird feed in the feed trays outside each room daily). Great value for money!

Loved the space and comfort. Love the fact that it's adults only. The view of the river and the peace and quiet watching the birds was so relaxing. The breakfast inclusion was great and the extra Christmas touches were so thoughtful. A lovely spot and we would stay again but probably soon in the future it may be time for a bit of an update or painting. But saying that we loved it.

The rooms have not had an update for along time, looks old and tired. It was not as clean as we would have liked. Limited under cover parking. Some staples such as coffee and teas were only replenished on request.

The location suited our needs, far enough away from a very busy road ( truck noise). The room was large and spacious.

The only thing we struggled with originally was how to get to reception. We were a little tired from travelling all day that we missed this signage. No one's fault though!

Loved the setting. Was lovely and quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable 👌 The breakfast trays were a very nice touch. As someone who likes to walk and explore, we loved the position of the property, and the hill both outside the establishment and the one leading to the main road into town😀 its difficult to find places like Tweed Lodge these day's. It was perfect. Would definitely stay again and tell our friends. Walking into town was wonderful! And the markets were on too!

Fabulous location - all that you could want or need in your room - very clean and comfortable. Great outlook and outdoor seating area - so nice to be able to sit and chill, looking out into lovely gardens and native bush. Also a treat to hear and see the beautiful birdlife, especially at daily feeding times. Very easy to deal with the property owners Julian and Jenny - we had a really very nice 2 night stay.
