Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaCheck out requirements such as : wash dishes, return keys at the real state, carpark empty by 10am sharp, turn all the heater off, collect all rubbish and put in the bin. It was away too much. We also had issues to find the place to collect the keys and when I called and texted the number that supposed to give us help, no one accepted the call or sent us a txt message.

AustraliaWashing machine was in joint room not mentioned and had to pay for loads also not mentioned. Had 3 mountain bike riders and lots of washing. Also the deposit was a little high, have stayed in air bnb and other accomm and haven’t had to pay any form of deposit lately.

AustraliaA bit too compact for our liking... Living and dining rooms were combined. Sliding door to the bathroom with no lock. Cleanliness could have been better. Kitchen and the carpeted flooring looked dated and would appreciate an uplift.
Location and the view from the balcony were great. Well furnished with heaters in living and bed rooms, heated lights in bathroom. Kitchen was fully furnished with adequate utensils. The support staff were very good with assistance although it was a period of XMas holidays.

AustraliaThe property is very deceptively advertised. It was tiny. Barely room to move for one person in the kitchen. Definitely not big enough for a family. The biggest failures are the lack of internet, realistically an essential nowadays, and the lack of space for drying or storing ski gear. An apartment at the snow needs to have an area where wet ski gear can hang to dry, and skis/boots/stocks can be securely stored. This apartment had neither. It is not fit for purpose as ski accommodation. Finally, it is advertised as having a washing machine. This is actually one shared machine for the building that only accepts coins for operation. Again unrealistic these days as we couldn’t get coins so couldn’t use the facility. The local shop doesn’t have an ATM and is card only. My advice to the owner would be that if you are renting an apartment the equivalent of a boarding house, then the price should reflect this. It is NOT worth $1200 per night. Customers should spend the extra few hundred dollars and get somewhere far superior.

AustraliaTyrola 1 was nothing like the photos. It’s tiny, old, cluttered and front door not secure. We left and found somewhere else to stay. I would NOT recommend this accomodation. Location not near the village. Booking.Com needs different photos to accurately represent this property!!
Thredbo resort was fabulous. Top class mountain bike riding, hiking and other activities.
