Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThe remote to unlock the garage door did not work we had to use the key to get in and out all the time, you could not use the oven to heat things up as the dials had no numbers on it. The blind at the front door only closed half way.

AustraliaIt is winter, and an unusually cold one too. There was no heater available for the unit and the unit got very cold in the afternoon/evening. We had a liquid spill in the kitchen soon after we arrived and when I got the mop I found it was broken and the last person who used it obviously tried to fix it by holding the pad on with a rubber band (which was half disintegrated). Replacement of mop is essential. Kitchen - microwave bottom rusting although it works. Oven door does not shut properly which makes cooking in it longer. Cleaning - the common areas such as bathroom, kitchen and floor you see we're clean. However there was a high amount of dust on the walls, paintings and mould on the skirting boards. Also a lot of dust under beds and furniture when we moved them. (We had to move the kids beds together, I didn't go looking for dust!) I had to do a clean and vacuum so others staying who have allergies would be ok. The common touch areas such as doors and handles had also not been wiped down in a while, especially the 'kids' room Suggest a more regular deep cleaning of unit. Of cause, it's mostly clean now as I've done what I could for the benefit of my family.
Views were excellent from unit 10. The unit is located away from all the noise of king and bulcock but still within a nice walking distance along the esplanade if you want to go there. Enjoyed watching the boats and sea eagles from the patio. We appreciated the lift to level 3 withy elderly mother. Beds were comfortable. The unit block common areas and gardens are well cared for and maintained. Unit block is quite. Kitchen was sufficiently equipped with necessary items.
