Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaOdd entrance/arrival. Entry by Fire stairs and through service areas for last floor, It was a challenge with bags. On the same level as control rooms and HVAC plant room. A fair amount of construction noise and hvac machine noise from within the apartment.

AustraliaNO real issues. Would have liked a teapot,the free to air TV reception was flakey but probably just a aerial issue. Could hear some outside noise at night as the windows don't seen to be double glazed - more so in the larger corner bedroom but probably not more than most inner city areas.
Excellent location.Very large spacious 2 bedroom modernised apartment with excellent range of facilities.Excellent view being a top floor penthouse - 15 levels up. The entry is intriguing through several doors then up one flights of steps as the lift stops at level 14. All through security locks so very secure. The Manager was always very helpful and very accessible by mobile phone.

FinlandThe internet signal is low when in the bedrooms because the access point was in the living room so we had to move it to the kitchen or in the bedroom during online work meetings. The way to get to the apartment was quite inconvenient if you have heavy bags or a lot of luggages because there are two flights of stairs leading to the apartment, but the host helped us carry some of our bags. The apartment also tends to get a bit cold because of all the windows so we just turned on all the heaters.
The location was awesome! Everything was within walking distance. The place was very spacious and clean. Kitchen was well-equipped. There was even a Netflix subscription. The interiors were nice. The view was spectacular! Since the apartment is in an office building, we weren't concerned that our son was noisy in the evenings. The host was also very helpful, friendly and quick to respond.

AustraliaThe access to the apartment is not mentioned in the description of the listing. You are on the 15th floor , the lift stops at the 14th and there are two flights of stairs to the entrance !! James was helpful and carried one our bags ( we are in our late 60`s ) but this information should be available before you book , many would find this a non issue. The continuous use of the access fob , three or four different times at night , becomes annoying. The host is good , but at $400 a night I think the apartment falls short for value, the amenities are a bit dated , beds were comfortable and there`s plenty of space.
The apartment is in the centre of Collins Street which was perfect as we were attending a wedding in the city . The view is great and will only improve when all the construction is finished across the skyline. Easy walking to restaurants or the Regent Theatre .

AustraliaApartment was a bit dirty. Carpet didn't look like it had been cleaned, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and fresh wine glasses from the cupboard still had lipstick marks on them. The shower was a big disappointment. The shower head actually came out of the wall, although when I told the host he was very apologetic and asked for photos so he could get a tradesman in to fix it after our stay. But besides that, the bathroom was very outdated and could do with some time and money spent on it. For an apartment that big I would have expected a more modern and larger shower/bath. Also being on holiday we really would have liked a nice shower, but the old style shower head over the bath was very hard to shower our kids in and was not very comforting for us to shower in. The lounge room could have done with a lamp also. There was a lamp in the stairwell (I think this may have been moved from the lounge as the stairwell light was broken). Also there was 2 flights of stairs we had to carry our suitcases up, which I don't remember reading in the brief but perhaps it was stated. Other than that it was lovely. Would have been nice to have access to the roof, seen as the door is right there but understand government restrictions on everything these days makes anything fun harder. Overall it was great for the price. If the shower/bath had been better they would probably charge a lot more so it was nice to have a nice space within our price range regardless of the shower.
Nice apartment, good city views, very central location and close to restaurants and shops.

AustraliaOnly apartment in a office block. Lift takes you to level 14 then 2 flights on stairs to get to apartment. Stairwell is entry to male toilets so as 2 women travelling alone didn’t make you feel to safe. Light switch not working in entry. Toilet in apartment didn’t flush. Had to keep filling up with water by jug. Broken lock on door at top of second stairwell. Notified James that lock was broken. He advised he would have someone look at it but if he couldn’t we were to just jammy it with something to leave it ajar. By that afternoon still not fixed. Rang him again but had to leave a message. We contacted Sheila (James boss) who knew nothing about the broken lock and got it fixed late that afternoon. Very poor service from James.
