The showers and toilets aren’t cleaned enough. It’s often lacking soap, papers and the showers are not thoroughly cleaned.

It’s really well located, there is a kitchen if needed and the beds are comfortable

This answer is in the reply above. Sorry. What I DID like was how all staff were polite, friendly, very helpful and efficient at all times. Please relate my answer to the other question. And vice versa.

My bunk was directly under the air conditioning flow and I needed extra covers to sleep as others were not cooled in their bunks further from air conditioning outlet.and had curtains drawn. Otherwise very comfortable thanks 😊

It's a great hostel, nice rooms with balconies, the staff is very friendly, especially Atakan helped with many things if you have any questions! I also extended my stay and got a discount, which was very nice!

Charging points and a light for each bunk would be cool.

Facilities were good (big kitchen, fridge and couch in dorm room and nice little balcony with chairs and table, and great shared chill area downstairs), location was so good (less than 4 mins walk to the beach! And great bars and eats all around), friendly and helpful staff! Also lockers under bunks incase required

The air conditioner didn't work well and it was a really hot day. In other hostels there aren't any air conditioners at all.

Everyone were soo friendly & lovely!! Especially Atakan behind the reception desk - he was so helpful & lovely to us! He even gave us a free upgrade to a room, which was soo nice and we really appreciated it!! I can definitely recommend the hostel & would always come back :))

All the bed frame was shaking when the person in the top bed makes any move. There are no socket outlets near the beds. One of the least social hostels I have ever stayed

Location was great, the stuff was really nice. My room was newly furnished, there was even a tv in the room (which was more used as a mirror so maybe a mirror in the room is more needed 😁)

We had a big flat screen tv in the dorm but no mirror? Also some beds didn’t have plug sockets next to them.

A nice modern newly refurbished hostel , location was perfect in the centre of Byron. Not so much a social hostel but you can easily meet fellow travellers around Byron. They give you vouchers which is for a free drink in the bar next door!

Nothing I really enjoyed everything

Such an easy booking process. Beautiful rooms, nice and quiet, very comfortable, great location, perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay.

It’s right next to the pub, which means loud music on the weekend (maybe mid-week) I only stayed on a Friday. The music curfew was 11pm and the pub stuck to that.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. I stayed 1 night only and was offered access to the facilities to the next day. The room was a good size with a great balcony!

The bathrooms could be cleaner, and updated to match the rest of the hostel's comfort level. Although they do have shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided unlike most hostels.

Perfect location, super clean and comfortable beds with privacy curtains. Speedy wifi, huge communal, comfortable air con area out front to work in - almost like a co-working space. What made this property is the staff - they are all so kind and friendly, Damien goes absolutely above and beyond for every guest. He made us feel so welcome, and every time you pass reception you hear him going the extra mile for someone.

While the bunk beds were very comfy and had curtains on the sides, there were no walls/curtains by your head or foot of the bed so you could see through the end in the bunk next to you

Amazing rooms, have a mini fridge and a balcony. Really friendly helpful staff and good air con in the lobby area as well as the bedrooms. Plenty of toilets and showers. Met some really cool people in my room and in the rest of the hostel during my stay

The hostel is pretty new, so there is some space for improvement, but as the manager told us they are working on it to make Vali the best hostel in byron! Everything is really clean and it’s very easy to meet new people there. Overall a really good place to spend your time in the middle of byron. Special thanks to Tassilo for being the best receptionist!

There is only one women's bathroom on the first floor, which is really inconvenient when your room is at the other end of the corridor and you have to cross the entire floor to get there. Please add more bathrooms and the hostel will be just perfect 🙏☺️

Vali hostel looks beautiful, new and very clean. I love the way it’s decorated! The staff are lovely (thank you Johanna for your kindness). It's the perfect place to relax and be right in the centre of Byron Bay, just a few steps from the beach.
