Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaGrocery store/shopping centre and eateries were a bit of a walk away (their restaurant was closed). Car parking cost $65 - a double edged sword - this mean that there wasn't too much demand for the limited car parking spaces available, but $65 is the most I have ever had to pay for parking at any hotel/motel I have stayed at.
Chose this property due to location near our children's residences. Easy check in. Lovely room on sixth floor (two lifts). Clean, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom (designed for people with physical handicaps). Car parking (more on this below).

AustraliaDisappointed that the on-site restaurant was permanently closed awaiting a new operator. We had high hopes of being able to use it for breakfast and dinner options while we stayed. Also, for wheelchair clients, the local footpaths are in a poor state.
This location is excellent for when we visit Sydney from country NSW. It is very close to the railway, and an easy walk from Green Square station. There are plenty of dining options nearby, past Green Square station. We especially liked the Zetland pub.

AustraliaThe bunk beds in the family suite are incredibly poorly put together and squeak with every movement, making sleeping a challenge for everyone! The restaurant currently being closed was an inconvenience, but lots of food options nearby.
Great location right next to train station, rooms well maintained and clean.

AustraliaWe requested a car space and we thought it was OK, but on arrival there was not. We could park easily into a side street. Honestly they wrote on the website limited carspace - but I thought once requested 3 month before it was reserved. Also it is expensive so you could upgrade to a more expensive hotel for for the money (circa $60 a day)
location is really good - behind Green Square station. Honest accommodation.

JapanMy friend found there were some blood on the bedsheet, so asked them to clean at night. No breakfast included, have to go to cafes nearby
Good location. It locates in Green square, that is only 2 stops train from Smith Kingsford airport, and convenient to downtown. 24h reception, but sometimes have to wait a bit. The hotel is new and the room is quite spacious. They have a gym while quite small, nobody is using. Didn’t find the TV remote control at the beginning.

AustraliaThe AC was confusing at first to navigate, it doesn't have a remote control so you need to get up and regulate it manually; there were only two coffee pods provided for a 4-days stay and we couldn't get hold of housekeepers all this time as they're doing room service before 10AM and we were notoriously sleeping in until much later. The receptionist assisted us with coffee pods and replacing an empty conditioner bottle that was empty when we moved in.
The staff helped us a lot with late check-in and storing our bags for almost a whole day after we checked out. Amazing quality for your money and the location, extremely easy to reach from the train station. Has gym and the lounge where you can purchase some snacks and drinks. The restaurant was closed for some unforeseen circumstances but it was not at all inconvenient for us as we were mainly eating at all our favorite spots in Sydney. A lot of lighting options -- depending on the time of the day and the vibe you can switch between main lights and smaller table and floor lamps.
