No bad points about the hotel or its location.

Room was comfortable. Great view. Access to restaurants and other leisure activities. Close access to Granite Island, the steam train which travels between Victor Harbour and Goolwa, amusement rides and close access to the beach.

We ordered drinks a few times on the me&u app and waited 15 mins while the pub was empty. Both times we had to go and ask the girls if the drinks were coming to which they did not realise we had ordered them. We stopped using the app and ordered directly at the bar as it was much quicker. No fault of the girls, they were absolutely lovely, but not sure what happened with our orders. Seemed to work when we ordered food though.

The lady that did our house keeping should be recognised for her beautiful customer service, I did not catch her name. She was short, slim and had short reddish/brown hair. She was very friendly, helpful and polite.

Our room overlooked air conditioning units and a ugly tin roof . No wine glasses ,

Hotel Victor is in the heart of town and adjacent to all one needs. SOME rooms o look the Granite Island . We liked the updated decor look of our room and king size bed . Lamps either side and a table with 2 chairs . Air conditioner heating was excellent .

Noise travels into the rooms from the park - but I was expecting this as it is located in the best position to access the Main Street and the beachfront.

Lovely view across the park to the causeway. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and it was clean.

the room is not sound proof - you can hear door banging and noise from the corridor and other room. there were no bedroom slippers provided

fantastic location - close to the foot bridge to Granite Island and near cafes and shops the room is clean and hotel is well maintained staffs are friendly and accommodating to our requests.

a bit of pricy. The kettle was rusty but the staff helped changed a new one straight away. The price I booked was more expensive. I checked the price on the day of arrival and it is cheaper than the booked price. But we still had to pay the booked price instead of the price of the actual day of checking in. I did not really understand why the charge for the same day could be different on differ t booking time.

Toilet seat didn’t match toilet so moved a lot. No internet for tv so minimal channels.

Bed was roomy and comfortable, staff were helpful. Shower was good.

Noisy but warned of this by staff. Glasses were not cleaned in our room each day after using. Bed was made well initially but during stay was made very poorly. Meals area was very noisy and found bar staff quite rude later in night.
