Place was not clean, uber eats from previous booking 2 weeks prior was still in bin - had to throw in big bin outside. Fan/light control can be found under the bed. Bed was very springy and too soft. Wifi worked when we cane at about 2pm and stopped at about 8pm until the end of stay - attempted to contact property person, was dismissed and told to contact booking instead.

Location was great. View amazing. End street so only local traffic.

Some old napkins and brochures on the floor next to the bed made it feel like it was not thorougly cleaned between guest.

Easy to check in even when I arrived late. Good with parking. Nice view over Hobart. Perfect for just staying the night during a road trip. A car is recommended for the location. Nice café near by for breakfast.

Poorly worded listing - the room with a mountain view that states it doesn't share a bathroom like the other listing's DOES share a bathroom and is more of a box room than a double room. Room facilities listed are contained within the shared property as a whole. The hot tub is actually the property's bath. The bath listed for the room is the only bath in the house and is shared and is on a separate floor. This listing is for a room in a sharehouse/ unstaffed hostel. Tea and coffee making facilities offered but with no milk. Not proficiently cleaned before entry.

The lack of ensuite facilities

I think the description of the rooms needs to be a little more specific. For over $200 per night I would have expected our own ensuite, not a shared toilet and bathroom facilities on a different level accessible only by a staircase.

The property needs a good clean. Dirty skirting boards, dust, rubbish under beds including lollies, a mask, a drink bottle, drips of something all over wall in loungeroom, grease over PowerPoint's in kitchen. No hand towels or face washers provided. Mop bucket with dirty water and mop left in bathroom. Couldn't check in till 3pm as cleaners were still there. Trundle bed sheets had crumbs all over them and slobber marks. When asked if we could get clean sheets (the owner was picking up keys they left) she told us we didn't have access to the trundle beds. Said that we had enough beds for 12 and this didn't include trundles. We booked 7 adults and 4 kids and needed trundles for the kids. She did allow us to use trundles. Considering we paid over $1300 per night I would have thought that gave you access to the beds in the house. This was sorted face to face and worked out well and accommodated for.

Views amazing. Great house, yard, deck and layout. Spacious, modern and well equipped with utensils/cutlery etc.

There was no toilet roll in the bathroom the next morning. There was a television in the room but no remote. It didn't matter though with a view to die for upstairs

The view was extraordinary from the upstairs lounge. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of street parking outside the unit.
