The place is artfully renovated capturing both comfort and tranquility. Bev and Ed were great hostst, helping us with our luggages and providing us with coffee, tea and snacks. we recommend this place to anyone who's staying in the area, and will most certainly stay again!

The steep driveway was a little bit of a challenge to turn around in.

Peaceful and quiet rainforest setting. Bev took the time to welcome and farewell us in person, she prepared a beautiful fruit platter for our arrival, nothing was too much trouble. Some things were unexpected but appreciated like extra towels and blankets, robes, boardgames and mosquito coils, to name a few. Thank you!

Wow! Villa Vihara is a luxury apartment in the rainforest near Innisfail. The property has its own creek and stunning verandahs with views to the surrounding rainforest. Inside was impeccable. We were greeted with a fruit and cheese board and a whole selection of nibblies that we quickly polished off. The rooms are huge and beautifully decorated and we had absolutely everything that we needed. The best part was the outdoor spa and shower that we enjoyed. Drinking bubbles while lying in bubbles in the middle of a rainforest during a rainstorm was perfect. Falling asleep while listening to torrential rain and the sounds of the rainforest is something we won't forget. Bev is a wonderful host and all the special little touches were really appreciated.

When we drive through the entrance of the apartment, we found ourselves surrounded by rainforest plants, and on top of that, a stream flows through the grounds, as if we were in a paradise.

Stunningly located in the rainforest, this beautiful property has all the extra features like a big bath, coffee machine, and well-appointed kitchen to cook in. You actually hear rainforest sounds all night. It's incredibly calming. The owners are so very thoughtful and helped us out over our stay. 7 minutes to town for supplies. Highly recommended stay.

Steep driveway and slippery spiral staircase

My husband and I loved staying at this property. It was absolutely gorgeous, with ferns and palms surrounding the property, with a bubbling stream running in front of the house. If you love nature, this is the property for you! Bev was an amazing host who went out of her way to ensure our comfort. I loved the small details of extra toiletries in the main bathroom. The fruit platter was much appreciated too. Thank you for an amazing stay. We will be back!

The stairs to get in the venue are steep. This are not for the faint hearted. Everything else is exceptional.

Our stay of 2 nights was too short! We look forward to staying longer on our next visit, as we ran out of time to use the creek. So many places of interest to visit and explore.

Such a serene setting. Sleeping with doors open (fully screened), listening to the sounds of the forest was very calming. Wendy was lovely, providing us with a local fruit platter on arrival.

I loved it, if I have to be critical the outdoor circular staircase was not easy to negotiate with luggage.

A real retreat, beautifully situated, private. Spacious with numerous comfortable outdoor verandas and an outdoor jacuzzi and shower surrounded by the sights and sounds of the forest. Beautiful and well equipped kitchen, livingroom, dining area, bathroom and laundry facilities. Bed super comfortable and loved the safety of leaving the doors and windows open at night, protected by insect netting, and listening to the sounds of the forest. Wendy is most warm and welcoming.

The beautiful rainforest setting was lovely setting on arrival, this property will not disappoint. Lovely and peaceful place definitely a 2 night stay or longer.

Everything was great. The only bit of feedback is that the hot water could have been a little hotter for the bath and outdoor spa. But I'm not sure that can be controlled.

Beautiful location, feels like you are deep in the rainforest. The bath and outdoor spa were lovely. The property was spotlessly clean and excellently fitted. Wendy left us some fruits, which was a nice touch. My partner appreciated the variety of toiletries available :)

Unfortunately we encountered some heavy rain during our stay at the villa and thus the mozzies did attack us pretty bad.

Special offering - very rarely you can stay in a rain forest with so much luxury amenities/comforts at a very affordable price.
