room was very small and dated and not like the pics they have displayed on booking.com bathroom also very small, my brother is a big boy and it was a tight squeeze into the shower air-con had a constant tick breakfast is from 8am so not good for early risers like myself

The bed, bed linen and pillows were just awful. Very uncomfortable. The bathroom vanity needed to be larger too. I think the decor of the room didnt match the decor in the public areas. The public areas were much nicer and well appointed

We liked the old building. Very well decorated. Inkeeping with the era of the building. Very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the happy hour. Breakfast was a lovely bonus, we didnt expect. Great coffee too

Wi-fi connection didn’t work properly in the hotel room, it worked in the lobby though.

Room was a little bit dusty particularly the top of the fabric bed head, just needs a thorough vacuum, bathroom dated but clean & ok.

The location is great for access to all city sites. Comfortable, rooms. Decent basic breakfast included, barista coffee available at an extra cost. Off site secure parking close by, about mins walk. Metered Street parking scarce $6/hr.

The rooms were modest clean & fresh. Had a pleasant atmosphere and character that differs from most hotels. The hotel is located on a quiet street a short 10 minute drive to Sydney Opera House and China Town is a 5 minute drive. Staff are available and can offer assistance with local attractions. There are several restaurants/shops in walking distance (Dumpling & Noodle House is 150m away and is a must try!)

There was no dinner provision. When trying to book the room directly with the hotel I was asked to send a photo of both my ID and Credit Card, which I wasn't about to do. This is why I ended up with Booking .com to avoid that hassle and lack of security. Suggest hotel looks at that request and why they feel it necessary. Also suggest they change it as a process.

Bed was not the most comfortable. Staff were confusing and instructions were unclear. Parking was difficult to find with instructions from staff. Noise from other guests was quite noticeable.

Ground floor room had windows that were very high up but because the road slopes, they and at street level and people could look right into the room if the blind is open. The windows also didn't open at all for fresh air. We had to keep the blinds closed all the time and so the room felt very dark and claustrophobic. I would prefer to be able to look out the window. There was also an old pillowcase thrown on the bedside table, so it made us worry if the room had been cleaned. The bathroom didn't have much space to put anything.

The bathroom was super cold, I mean there is no heating in the bathroom, so be prepared to freeze. Good coffee is not included in the breakfast.

Affordable in a good neighbourhood. Everything was pretty close, but the area was relatively calm. The new windows are quite good, and the bed was okay.

Carpets etc very tired..depending on Sydney events can be too expensive for value.

Excellent staff, very clean, comfy bed, crisp good linen, modern bathroom, great location, full hot breakfast. Great bar and coffee area.. UTS parking good for large vehicles and only 2mins walk.
