There were a lot of mozzies and only room for 1 car to park.

Location was great. Short walk to the beach and only a short drive to Nelson Bay, Anna Bay shops and Boat Harbour. The cabin is nestled in the trees and is very peaceful and quiet. We fed a mother and baby possum on our verandah.

Be prepared for mosquitoes. It was wet and tropical but they provided repellent. Had not expected they had indoor pit toilets but they were clean and did not smell.

Loved the Hot Tub and the visit from possum and baby as we left.

There’s nothing I could fault . Maybe a later check out offered . But I would of loved a cabin with a spa , maybe next time .

Set in a rainforest .. green lush . Environmentally friendly. We got to experience Possums interacting with us . So peaceful. Listening to the birds was beautiful. Oh and the shower was great !

Friendly staff, nice and clean cottage, great shower and WIFI, salt water pool swimmable, good setting and good location. The possums around are friendly.

The toilet was easy to use and sustainable but i wish i was told exclusively about it. The place has its own capturing charm but the marketing photos on both Booking.com and the website did not match with reality. We were told that we need to enquire about the place by calling but these days you expect the website to be as clear as it gets without having to call because that doubles the work for both the guest and the business owner. Another major thing is that i wish the cottage features were much clearer. There are 5 out of 7 pictures with bathtubs and the room with bathtub is easily out of reach. So when i go to book i need an all capital NO BATH TUB and NO HOT TUB included in the title or under it so i know what i am getting especially that if the hot tub is taken i will not know that option to compare with. Once you see discrepancy between reality and what is stated on the website even if it is unintentional, you start to think 'well what else is not as is promised?' And that is not good for my experience or the owner's reputation.

I loved the greenary around me and spending time on the porch. I loved the natural lighting, the easy to use grill, the clean pool and the kitchen utensils. The place was easy to get to and it was quiet and safe. There was a little wild life with predominantly kookaburras and mag pies which were enjoyable to share the space with.

Both myself and my friend were unimpressed with the male owner, who was far from friendly and keen to get rid of us at 10.05 am on the last day. We had genuinely misunderstood the written information and thought we had a 12 midday checkout. He could have been more customer friendly. His partner was very nice

Beds were not super comfortable and were quite loud when moving around. But wouldnt deter me from staying again by any means!

Lovely little place that feels totally off the grid. The owner was great and gave great tips on where to explore. The spa was amazing too! We loved it at wanderers :)

Kitchen is a little antiquated, but it suffices.

Ideal location for seeing the area. Quiet semi-secluded cottage with own hot tub. Two bedrooms and little kitchen gave us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. Wooden woodsy feeling was lovely! Porch Weber BBQ worked well. Host very friendly, helpful, and informative.

We got out of bed around 8am on our day of departure to have a hot tub before we left only to find it was emptied already for cleaning for the next guests. This was a huge disappointment to us as the hot tub was the main reason for selecting this spot and the main bright spot on a very wet weekend. Also, staff were pottering around near the cottage to work on the hot tub which made us feel we lost our privacy on the last day and made it feel like an Airbnb (which we avoid where we can as we like our space).

We visited primarily for the hot tub and it was nice, surrounding area was nice although too wet to explore well. We would return to the area as in nice weather it seems to have plenty to do. Staff were very nice on arrival.
