The rooms were very clean and comfortable, It had everything that we needed plus it was close to the event we were attending.

Our bed moved around , lacked stability Moved all over the place as we moved Had to put the table and chairs against it to sleep Mat on floor very slippery Walls very thin Security lighting needed between laundry and cabin rooms Instructions for aircon would have been helpful

Lovely apartment. Nice and clean with crisp sheets and towels. The manager was very kind to have the log fire going in the drawing room! We had a lovely bottle of wine, cheeses and relaxed in the chesterfield couches. Will come back again definitively!

The beds unfortunately left us with sore backs as we could feel the springs in them. The fridge was very loud as well which made it tricky to sleep. Also, both mornings we stayed there we woke up to the sounds of our neighbours getting ready as well as general chit chat at night / morning as the walls were very thin but not much you can do about that. I also didn't like how thin the toilet paper was but I can understand that this can be a cost factor for the lodge so it is not a deal breaker, more personal preference.

Location was great as we were around the corner from the venue we had an event at. Room was relatively clean, although we did find a glow stick in the room that wasn't from us. The heater kept the room lovely and warm. Overall it was a nice and clean room for a short stay :).

The water pressure in the shower was low to non existant, the toilet when flushed was very loud The window was also not able to be opened so fresh air from outside wasnt possible unless the door was left open

The small” skylight ?” In the middle Of the wall next to the door. It didn’t have an option to put a curtain over it, and so what that meant was, there was a direct, bright light coming in from outdoors straight outside the window into the room. I don’t sleep very well at the best of time as I’m a very big insomniac and that aspect wasn’t helping. I tried to ignore it.  the bedsheets were so nice and clean and the doona, and the only downside was that it was a little too hot for me because it is it’s summer and was more like a winter style and I overheat quite easily Apart from that, it was really great and it was nice to have the option of the TV which I didn’t watch and also having a nice bar fridge, free Wi-Fi and toiletries provided I think that all hotels would do really well if they could just suggest to their guests if they could be a little more mindful of the other guests who are sleeping because some people got up at 6 o’clock or 7 o’clock and were stomping around slamming doors, etc ( I’ve experienced this in many places including Europe on my travels) it’s quite Inconsiderate, which is out of the control of the hotel, but it would be a nice thing if the bike riding guests could be a little more considerate  to those of us, who are just wanting to have a beautiful weekend away with a nice sleep in on a Sunday

Overall, the property is very old, rundown and dilapidated (but I was given an excellent new room.) Owner called me and asked me to delay my arrival and pay cash because credit card facility wasn’t working. I had to find ATM. When I arrived I was told I could use my card after all. That’s when they upgraded my room. The lady at the information centre at the Water Wheel was very negative about the property and told me not to stay there.

My room was upgraded so I had a brand new room, freshly painted, immaculate. I had a microwave, toaster, jug, fridge. TV had Netflix.
