You can hear some noise through ceiling/walls if you have noisy neighbours.

The building is renovated, rooms nice with comfortable beds. Bathroom a bit outdated but clean. There are two small pools. I loved play area for kids on the ground floor with restaurant/bar near by. Nice buffet breakfast.

Expensive due to time of year, as was everywhere else. Disappointed that we had to wait 1hr 20mins to check in though we arrived AFTER 2pm

Carpark was full, Was surprised that there was an additional charge for that on top of the room stay, that is unusual for hotels. Had to park in a local public carpark which I would prefer not to have my car parked in that location overnight. The shower doubles as a bath and is difficult to get in and out of, the cold water tap had limited supply, suspect restriction in pipes. In summary the bathrooms are very dated and in need of upgrading. The supplied towels were stained and some were torn in places, Probably and opportunity for the cleaning staff to be more thorough.

Hotel facilities are excellent, restaurants and bars were fantastic, Massive TV showing the live sport, Friendly and efficient staff, Quality of meals were outstanding. The quality of the linen and bed in the room was excellent and very comfortable.

If only they could serve halal food at the buffet breakfast, it would be lovely. The size of the room was also a small issue.

I love the hospitality of staff members. Every single one I've spoken to, requested something from, or asked for assistance from, have expressed very warm, welcoming, and most importantly were able to help. I was impressed. Additionally, I loved the buffet breakfast offered to all guests. There's so much variety, and it tasted divine. My kids are picky eaters, but they went hard at the buffet. Hats off to the chefs and servers. The location was also one of the positives of the Voco Gold Coast. IT WAS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!!! We are Muslims, and we were able to grab halal midnight snacks, amazing halal goodies, and find fine dining, which were all about 3min walks from the hotel. We loved exploring around the main streets, the beach, and shops. Thank you, Voco Gold Coast. We will definitely come back!

Our toilet kept getting stuck and wouldn't flush properly. We had to get assistance from maintenance a couple of times and 3rd time was offered a different room but we were leaving next day didn't want to pack, unpack and pack again but appreciated the offer to move. The configeration of the bathroom was a bit squishy and not practical however it was clean :)

Great location and facilities. The room size was good. The grand kids loved the 2 pools and used both :). We could walk or catch a tram to Cavill Ave. Loved the breakfast buffet, bar and snack area. From level 16 even the city view was great.

The pillows were too hard and the quilt was not thick enough. Dust/dirt was on the tables. I don't think the room was for the value of money we paid.

I loved the view from our room. It was pretty clean. The beds were comfy. The service was really good and the check-in was quick.

No towels at pool or to take to the beach - day spa was closed - both were advertised on in room tv and even staff seemed surprised that they were listed - no concierge in lobby - would have been nice to have a coffee machine but there was a kettle and fridge

Hotel stated barista coffee was included in buffet breakfast, however this was untrue. The coffee was from a machine and it was very watery and bitter. There was very good coffee close by though.

The summer special was good value. Buffet breakfast was fantastic, it was also close to everything in surfers paradise. The staff and housekeeping were also friendly and professional.

Nothing much. Except that only 2 towels are given although we have 4 guests. This is easily solved by getting the extra towels from the reception counter.

The location is central and is just 10 min walk from surfer paradise beach front. There are many good eateries nearby. Highly recommend Cocohut (Thai restaurant) and Hurricane which is popular for the ribs. The tram station is just next to the hotel. You can take tram to Pacific shopping center using GO card. You can buy GO card at airport. The bed is comfortable and housekeeping is done everyday. Breakfast variety is limited but good enough for 4 days stay. This is a good hotel.

We didn't get the bed configuration that we requested (we got 2 small beds rather than one king bed), but we just pushed the beds together so it wasn't that big of a deal. The only other disappointing part was that we had to pay extra for onsite parking and it wasn't included in the price like other stays in the area.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a decent range of food options. Price was good for what we received.
