The outdoor furniture and BBQ needed a clean, getting the shower temperature right was a bit of a challenge, but ended up being a good shower. The brickwork surrounding the outdoor furniture needed some attention. None of these issues spoiled our stay.

We stayed for three days and loved every minute of it. the cottage is full of character, very comfortable with thoughtful touches everywhere, including wine and chocolates on arrival, we would love to stay there again.

Everything was great for a house of this vintage.

A lovely quiet and spacious place to stay. Small package of supplies on entry was appreciated. Great sized backyard for dog to roam around. Lots of kitchen items available. Smart TV very useful

We were happy with everything. Some would expect a dishwasher or an ensuite but it is a quaint old cottage from a different era and we loved it. It has everything you need for a comfortable relaxed holiday.

We loved staying in a historic style cottage. It was the whole home, clean, warm & well equipped. Position was great too. The goodies basket was a lovely touch.

Shower taps hard to maintain constant temperature. Rug in kitchen/dining not safe. Some essential cooking utensils missing.

Yard for dog. Homely feel, well furnished. Close to town.

the step down to the back room where the toilet and bathroom is needs and extra step added, it’s too high. my older parents struggled with it. they can handle normal height steps but this on is just too high. window in the right front bedroom did not close at the top, this needs to be fixed. it was open when we arrived and we could not push it up to close it.

shower over bath not good for older clients. Difficult to adjust hot water flow. May need to look at replacing hot water system in the future.

We loved this little cottage. So lovely to see it in mostly original condition but so comfortable! We were warm, had everything that we needed and couldn't have asked for anymore. The location was close to the street yet quiet. Debbie was a great host, and we will definitely be staying there again. Thank you!

It was a lovely stay with nice personalised finishing touches I really liked the blackboard with our welcome message on it. Facilities were excellent everything there you need. Very clean, comfy beds with electric blankets.

The bath was not clean. There were some steps that were potentially dangerous in the rear of the cottage. A window in the kitchen was not able to be closed due to damage.

Toilet was very cold.

Really comfy and homely cottage with great beds, pillows etc. Kitchen provided lots of extras, (no dishwasher). Generous welcome gifts and free wifi.
