Kitchen could be a bit better stocked...only 3 water glasses and 3 Wine glasses. A colander or sieve would have been good too.

The dishwasher, oven, and washing machines were dirty. Couldn't dare to use them.

The location, with a sea view, was amazing. Will go there again. My kid enjoyed the surroundings the birds, 15mins commute to a nearby town to for shop groceries/restaurants. Best sunrise view. <3

No WiFi on the last night. Big cigarette smoke smell throughout the apartment when we arrived. Apartment not that clean - cobwebs, window frames really dirty, table and benches bit sticky.

so hard to open the key safe one of the single beds smells and one of the small sofa smelt like vomit and the small pillows smells the toilet bowl was not cleaned and the bathroom floor was not vacummed only 3 towels given for 8 people booked the dining table was not enough space for 8 people booked at the time of booking the apartment that I booked was with the attic making my daughter excited to go but the apartment we arrived was different but we ended up liking it felt like not enough space for 8 people

issue with power, no lights in the unit. most power points didn’t work. reported it to reception. it was not total outage,as the unit next door’s lights were ok. The gas heater smells of gas when we turned it on.you need to check this. it could be a gas leak. we had to turn it off.

The apartment was not properly cleaned. All of the towels smelt of cigarette smoke, the carpet was filthy and the fold out bed was extremely dirty with a blood stain on the mattress protector. This fold out bed was also so badly worn that our kids couldn’t sleep on it and we ended up putting them on the couch.

It's with deep disappointment that I recount our recent stay at Ocean View Apartments at Whitecrest Great Ocean Road Resort. The accommodations were not just rundown but shockingly filthy, forcing us to cut short our stay due to the intolerable conditions. Moreover, the behavior of the owner was beyond unprofessional; it was outright rude and confrontational when we raised our concerns. No guest should ever be subjected to such disrespectful treatment, especially when dealing with legitimate grievances. Regrettably, our case isn't an isolated incident. Recent reviews indicate a recurring pattern of cleanliness issues, echoing our own disappointing encounter. This place should not be allowed to be promoted, it is a clear case of false advertisement While I understand that issues can arise, the way they're handled speaks volumes. Unfortunately, our experience at Ocean View Apartments fell far short of acceptable standards. I implore the management to take these issues seriously, not just for us but for the sake of future guests. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Ocean View Apartments to anyone. The combination of inadequate accommodations, unsatisfactory hygiene standards, and disrespectful behavior towards guests is a concerning trend that should not be overlooked.

Beds very uncomfortable, not given proper bedding for sofa beds, wet sheet when unfolded it to put on bed, and not replaced.
