In my opinion you definitely need a car to get to Leonie’s BNB. Walking up the hill from Airlie ‘center’ with luggage could be uncomfy.

Leonie is a great host and looks out for her guests! Breakfast was included and provided the night before which allowed us to make the breakfast on our own and head out early in the morning. The bathroom was super clean and the room and the kitchen as well. Parking was provided!

If u will stay in airlie beach for a fews days highly recommend to stay this mountain resort to experience something other than ocean. Otherwise leave some where closer to the port maybe.

You couldn’t quite walk to the beach from the BNB but we had a car so this was no issue.

The BNB is beautifully decorated and well equipped, nestled in a quiet and beautiful street up the hill from Airlie Beach. We had the larger room, and had everything we needed. A private balcony was a wonderful bonus, we could drink our morning coffee in private and just enjoy the gorgeous nature around the house. In the morning beautiful white cockatoos that visit the house, which was simply amazing! Leone is a super host, she was responsive and helpful, and helped us book our coral reef trip with a discount. We really loved the stay there and only wished that we spent more time there.

By far this is one of my favourite spots I’ve enjoyed during my tour of the East Coast. Leonie made it feel like a home from home and really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and ensure I enjoyed my stay. Massive thank you for my stay! If I could have stayed for longer I would have , I highly recommend to anyone visiting Airlie!

The location was wonderful and Lydia told us many about the Kakadus and her specialt friend the Kokabara, also we get all necessarry information about Airlie Beach. It was a great BNB.

The BnB was set up perfectly and the host made the experience what it is. She was kind, welcoming and really goes above and beyond. Even without choosing the BnB option, she left pancakes for my breakfast. The facilities are also beautiful with the usage of the spa with a rainforest view

The hotel is the most fantastic place to stay in all of Airlie Beach. It is truly magical, full of beautiful energy and contact with nature. Leonie is loving, super attentive to everything and super hospitable. You can really see the love and attention to every detail. It recharged my energies, you really can't miss staying here!

The accommodation is beautiful and very close to nature. The style is Balinese with beautiful wooden elements and a super lovely outdoor kitchen. Anyone who likes nature is in good hands here. It is also not far from the town or the beach. However, the best thing about the accommodation is the great hostess, who puts her heart and soul into looking after her guests! Do it yourself breakfast (I didn't like it at first, but Leonie provided great ingredients and I have to admit that since many people will want to take tours that start early in the morning this is better than a set breakfast time), the "Buddha Room" is a bit dark and the way to the toilet is a bit far and can get wet if it's raining (umbrella provided, but who wants to deal with an umbrella in the middle of the night, doesn't apply to the other rooms => otherwise 10/10)

Leonie is a great host that made me feel welcome and helped me decide what to do, calm place (aside from the wildlife) place with beautiful shared spaces, comfortable bed, well equiped kitchen

Bed was a bit creaky, noisy every time you rolled over. Marsh flies were a pain but not the fault of the owners.

The frogs at night are different, many different sounds but there are lots of ear plugs supplied in the rooms if you need them.

The whole place is wonderful. Gorgeous garden, very comfortable bed, unique rooms and bathroom, the owner is really lovely. We have stayed twice now and both times the breakfast supplies were fresh and plentiful. The location is terrific

Um, can’t think of anything…

It is the most beautiful oasis in a dead end street. Walk through the entrance and be transported into a green tropical paradise. There is an abundance of bird life and if it rains the frogs will chorus you to sleep. The surrounding gardens have areas to sit and absorb the tranquility and colour only tropical Queensland can produce. I loved it. Leonie, the owner, is a bundle of energy and fun. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she really wants to ensure that the best time is available for all. She works hard to maintain this wonderful paradise.

The frogs were very noisy, but it’s their habitat so not gonna complain too much about that! But the host provides ear plugs which help a little and they settle down after about 1am.

What a stunning little paradise this place is.. it’s like being in a rainforest. The host is so welcoming and it feels like your coming to stay at a friends. The beds were so comfortable and really beautiful clean rooms.
