This is a beautiful family home (or for us - two families of 4 staying together). The rooms are huge, everything is comfortable and clean. The photos don't do it justice.

The only minor improvements we feel are needed, are the towels, pillows and blankets. It would be nice to have a cushy comfy set of pillows to sleep on (the existing ones need upgrading). The other house we normally stay at in Ballarat provide a set of Hotel Quality white bath sheet, towel, hand towel and wash cloth per person. Different coloured towels felt as though we were invading someone's personal space/home, not so much that we were staying in a family retreat. An upgrade in quilt would also be a nice addition. The mat in the main bedroom was flimsy and kept shifting, and the room was so nice it really doesn't need it anyway.

Alans communication and instructions on where to find the keys was excellent. We loved the facilities available to us. As we entered the house we immediately took over the ping pong table. The dining table was large enough to accommodate our family games night and shared meals. The back yard was so well maintained and peaceful, aside from the dog next door who did not agree with us being in the back yard a whole lot however, for the most part, if you were quiet and careful not to go near the fence, all you would hear in the morning whilst sipping on a nice cup of coffee (yes, a complementary coffee sache available to guests in the kitchen, nice little touch along with tea and cookies), are the birds enchanting songs echoing through the trees. The entire house was so clean and tidy. And it was roomy enough for our group of 7, yet still cozy enough to enjoy whilst watching a movie with the family, or quietly reading a book whilst sinking in to what i beleive to be the most comfortable set of Leather sofas I have ever had the pleasure of sitting on. The pets were happy to roam and our little King Charles was happy to explore the large outdoor lawn area. Ending each evening with a warm electric blanket tucked under the bed sheets was a really nice and thoughtful touch. We would happily return for a future getaway and also recommend this house to family and friends.

The location was ideal, quiet residential area and close to the Wildlife Park. The home was very spacious for our family, with a separate games room and TV area, with an open kitchen, dining and tv area. The bedrooms were presented in warm and attractive style, as were the bathrooms, with fresh linen and towels.

Everything! Everything about this sizable, clean, beautiful property was perfect. Our family of 5 felt at home and didn't want to leave.

EVERYTHING!!! The house was amazing, clean, everything you need to be self sufficient (just bring your own food)... It literally was an amazingly great house! Our only gripe would be to supply better pillows. Memory foam pillows would have just made it 200/100.. Great location. Walking distance to the Wildlife Park. Lovely 'nature' location that's not busy. Quiet area. Easy home delivery from a yummy pizza house nearby. We would definitely stay here again for an extended time if we were ever in the area!

Absolutely nothing that I don't like about this property.

The property was in a quiet neighbourhood and the garden was lovely. The house was clean, neat, spacious and welcoming right from the when I step into the property. The interior has a very relaxing and calming ambience and pleasing to the eyes. Alan was very helpful and communicates well. I certainly will return to this oasis of comfort and tranquility.

From the get go the home smelled and looked so lovely and clean. The walls were decorated with interesting and eclectic art. Not a cushion was out of place on the beds or the couches. Everything we needed was there and Alan had set up a futon on the floor complete with bedding for the 8th guest. The beds were made immaculately with such comfy sheets and a fleecy blanket too. There were enough towels and enough toilet paper for everyone. The kitchen was spacious, clean and was a pleasure to cook in. The outdoor area was gorgeous and had a hammock, an outdoor setting and more, although we didn’t get to use it because it was so cold. There was an amazing table tennis table, heaps of dvds, games and two big tvs. Let me save the best til last. Omg… the couches!!! They are the most comfortable couches. I will be thinking about that 3 seater for a long, long time. As soon as I sat in it I fell asleep. Alan was amazingly communicative, responding almost instantly to any query I had. I cannot thank Alan enough for having us. A seamless, comfortable stay. It broke my heart to leave! Thanks again.

Nothing - everything was great. Maybe recommend a couple more cooking bowls and pots but otherwise amazing.

Alan was incredible host and promptly responded to my questions. He also ensured the beds were set up to accomodate my 2 year old and the house was impeccably maintained in a great location.
