Amazing location, close to Chiltern, Beechworth, Mt Pilot, Yeddonba. Cosy cabin. Great pool. Fabulous barn with BBQ and fire. Lots of rescued animals, we were lucky enough to help feed them one morning. Very dog friendly

The accommodation was located on a large property which is a sanctuary for a variety of animals. We were able to walk around and meet the animals. Theresa the host was very friendly and is passionate and dedicated about housing animals in need.

Other than received notification of details very late, and would have preferred a firmer bed (which is personal preference), very little - really great offering for a get-away from city grind

The animals, quietness, pool on very hot days(!), minimal number of other guests so freedom to wander, communal BBQ that meant making meals was simple

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 and dog. There was a paddock where we could let the dog off for a run which was great. The kids lived in the pool! Theresa kindly let us help feed the animals and it’s was absolutely amazing - the kids feed water buffalo, camels, goats, lamas, horses, ostriches, ducks, chickens, peacocks, guinea pigs and Tommy the turkey!

It was a small cabin but we knew that on booking and was only for one night. It was comfortable and we had all we needed for one short night.

Location was beautiful. I wouldn’t like to be driving on those roads in the dark because it’s a danger to native animals. Fortunately we were back before dark. The rescued animals around the place are delightful, especially Tom the turkey.

The bedrooms were very small and I found it difficult to get up beside the bed. (I have had a few operations with my joints), but it wasn't impossible.

We loved the ease of entering the facility and not having to chase anyone up to let us in or give the key to when we left. The place was fairly clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The animals were within easy access and we really enjoyed our stroll through when we got there in the afternoon. We will probably be back for another stay.

The cabins were cozy and well appointed, but the animals were the absolute stand out and the hosts were so generous with their time in showing us around and introducing all their rescue animals. Only 12 min drive to Beechworth and super easy to find.

Everything about the property was very welcoming, clean and family friendly. Owner/managment very accommodating. Anyone who is an animal lover will appreciate this animal sanctuary, rehabilitation farm.

We loved everything about the property!

Perfect farm setting! Feeding all the animals was such a highlight, an amazing experience and lots of fun!! The pool was great after a hot travel day. Teresa and her husband were lovely and warm hosts. So great to know your money is going towards a good cause. We would highly recommend Willuna Sanctuary and would happily return!!

Not much to complain about.. water pressure lacking in shower, but still manageable!

I liked how private and diverse the experience was. I’m an animal lover - I was in my element. Perfect location and lots to explore. All the amenities inside the cabin were well thought of - even things I wouldn’t have thought to bring myself, if I was staying for a few days.
