Our only criticism is that it would be nice if there was an outdoor hammock or couch for a couple to lay in/on together. Other than that, nothing else!

The tranquil surroundings and no connection to the outside world was devine. So comfortable and relaxing for us humans, our XL dogs had an amazing time too especially in the creeks. Extremely private, just beautiful. Don't hesitate to book here.

Beautiful setting! The host, Mark, was very friendly and accomodating. We loved the fact it was pet friendly so we could bring our beloved Sausage dog with us. The cabin was beautiful and clean. It had a luxurious but very homely/cosy feel. We particularly loved the bay window/reading nook, the rain shower and the outdoor fire pit. The creek was lovely for a midday swim as well!

The weather, it rained while we were there, but the cozy cabin was relaxing and warm.

A few unobtrusive wayfinding signs along the track would make if easier to find the swimming hole.

The luxe cabin was located in the most beautiful and private location. It overlooks the amazing Christmas Creek, which, while hidden by groves a Hoop Pines, Silky Oaks, She Oaks and other creek vegetation, its sound is most relaxing. The private swimming hole in creek is only a 50m easy walk from the cabin and is clear and very inviting. When we were there, there was a nice little sandy patch for easy access into the water. As it is a natural stream care is needed when scrambling over the rocks to get down to the water hole.

A map detailing nearby walking locations would be the only thing I could have wished for. However walking along the road will take you through some of the most beautiful scenery before ending at Lamington national park.

The location was stunning. The cabin itself was far better equipped than I had expected. Generous amounts of firewood was supplied too. Cabin was clean, shower and taps had good water pressure and had plenty of hot water for my mid winter stay.

The only part of the experience I didn't enjoy was my own terrible firelighting skills. If you happen to find yourself in a similar predicament, there is an air conditioner you can use to keep warm. I used it on one of the three nights for a few hours. On my final night I managed a fire, even if it meant using a quarter of a pack of firelighters to get it going.

Absolutely immaculate little cabin. The location is amazing, you can easily forget the rest of the world exists, the only noise is the beautiful creek and birdsong. No light pollution, and beautiful clear winter sky for stargazing. The kitchen is really well equipped, with a large fridge, and there's a barbecue outside too. The hosts are only a quick call away if you need anything, though there's very little you'll be left wanting for. I brought books to read, but barely touched them, just spent hours on end in the forest and by the creek with my binoculars and camera, bird-spotting and teaching myself to use the gear in peace. There's a tiny Eastern Yellow Robin that knocks on the shower window early in the morning, he was particularly sweet, and worth getting out of the super comfy bed.
