There was a planned power outage on our last night and when the power came back on the dishwasher beeped every 15 seconds the whole night. After trying all options to stop it, we were unable to and we were unable to reach the power point behind it. It really wasn't user friendly and we didn't end up sleeping our last night. Super rare, isolated incident though and it didn't deter us from wanting to re-visit and for referring our friends and colleagues.

Location was fantastic, super close to beach, close to town. Loved that the resort offered free boogie boards, surfboards, e-bikes, fishing rods, slushies etc - my colleague ended up extending for Easter and bringing her family. Pool, gym, facilities were awesome.

I didn’t like being tricked with the glass of champagne and the 20 minute check in. The receptionist knew that we had driven 9 hrs and I had my 3 kids and hubby in the car so all we wanted to do was get the key and start our holiday.

Location was great. Rooms spacious. Love the cafe n dinner options a short walk away. Free slushies a bonus for the kids.

Loved the facilities, you guys catered for absolutely everyone. The onsite restaurant is a great touch as well. The pool & spa is amazing! The studio apartment has plenty of room. And the free activities and equipment is wonderful.

The sales presentation went longer than the promised hour and would have been even longer if we didn’t cut it short due to prior appointments. We don’t like the hard sales approach but did appreciate the staff member withstood assisting with a little education as well.

We love the apartment style accommodation. Fully self sufficient and comfortable

Spacious studio room with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable holiday. Nice pool. Located only a few minutes walk to beach, multiple cafes/restaurants & convenience store.

If there is a negative, then it would be that the shower water pressure could have been a little stronger.

My family and I didn't have the breakfast, choosing to have toast and coffee in the room because we enjoyed the amenities that were supplied. As for the location: Perfect!

Being invited to the membership preview and then denied entry because we are in receipt of a government pension. Humiliating. Embarrassing. Poor corporate behaviour.

The reception staff were very friendly, efficient and welcoming. Unlike the membership preview presenter. Accommodation and grounds were excellent.

Beautiful clean accommodation, lovely tropical gardens, heated pool was heavenly, staff were so friendly and obliging. Perfectly located opposite Flynn’s beach.

The sales pitch from the staff was pushy, with cheesy sales tactics. It was an optional presentation and good to be aware of before you stay. We also received the wrong meal a couple of times which wasn’t an issue, just a bit annoying.

The location and facilities were great! We loved the pool, used the bikes a lot and took out some beach gear. Our 1 bedroom apartment was great as well. Very happy with the holiday

The pool gets a little crowded at times and there is limited seating in the shade. We went at a peak time though in early January. We were usually able to get a lounger if we waited patiently but they could definitely use more of them and a little more shade.

We are a family of 4 and stayed in the deluxe 2 bedroom garden villa. It was modern and very well appointed with everything we needed. We loved the spacious balcony overlooking the pool. Having the restaurant on site was a huge plus and also right by the pool which was handy. The pool itself was awesome as it was heated and lovely to swim in. The location is great as it’s a good base from which to explore the port Macquarie region, although Flynn’s beach itself is a bit hard to access on foot for young children or elderly as there are steep stairs down, so we ended up driving to more accessible beaches. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The pushiness of the team member who was assigned to us. Attending a 70 minute sales seminar with 2 young children is obviously not a feasible option.

The large saltwater pool was amazing! The apartment was lovely and the grounds were so tranquil. Was only meant to be a short stopover on the way to Qld but we ended up wishing we'd stayed here instead.

Don’t get fooled into the offer of a welcome/club Wyndham presentation unless you want to be shut in a room and try to be convinced into investing into a rewards scheme!

Sales pitch.

Great little tropical oasis. Love the space of the accommodation. Having a separate bedroom for the kids and a full kitchen makes family holidays so much easier. The tropical garden landscaping makes it feel private despite being such a large resort. Pool is always perfect temperature as is the spa. Staff are friendly although wish we could skip the Wyndham sales pitch every single time. Last thing you want after driving for 7 hours with a car full of luggage and kids is a hardsell and to spend an hour of your holiday in a sales meeting. No means no.
