The glass wall adjacent to the front door instead of a solid wall. Feels a bit exposed if blinds not drawn. The sliding partition for the bathroom is translucent...can be a bit voyeuristic if your room mate is not your spouse or some one familiar to you.

Great Staff, helpful. 14 mins walk from CBD. Safe area. Good breakfast.

There isn’t much not to like. It’s great. It’s a bit of a walk to certain rooms but if you had any issues with mobility, I guarantee they’d put you in a room closest to the elevator.

I can’t recommend Zagames house enough. The staff are very down to earth and friendly, yet very professional. The ambiance of the place is quaint but also really upmarket. It’s in the perfect location, walking distance to the city, Queen vic market, Melbourne museum, Lygon street food strip is right at your door…. You really can’t ask for more. But then there is more. Off street parking that was very accessible. Have booked my third visit upcoming since finding this gem of a place in January 2024.

The bathroom was odd, the barn door was almost see thru and the toilet right next to the bed. Certainly didn't give much privacy. We have been married for 30 years but still a bit more privacy would have been nice.

We enjoyed the location and felt like we were close enough to all the attractions we wanted to experience in Melbourne. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. the staff was friendly and we liked that we could park our car at the hotel.

We loved the decor of Zagame's House. The room and the facilities were amazing. The bed was super comfy and the room was very quiet. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and our coffee & breakfast the following day was delicious.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

Upon arrival, we had a lovely introduction to the space by very friendly staff. The on-site parking was extremely convenient! As well as the coffee downstairs in the morning. The restaurant and room service is excellent. Very comfortable bed! Coming from Queensland, I appreciated the free bed socks very much! Overall a great stay, and recommend.

It was a little dark - I felt like I was staying in a night club and the toilet situation in the rooms is a little strange

I found my room a bit dark but that was because I had a tree outside the bathroom window and a blank wall outside the big window. I also think tighter blinds in the large window would help eliminate light! BUT small things! 😊

Floor to ceiling window onto outside corridor so kept blind pulled for privacy, then room was a little dark. Lighting great for chill and mood lighting. But needed a brighter option.

Love this place, vera nice and stylish interior, clean, wonderful mattresses! Close to CBD, lots of restaurants in Carlton around. And the body care products are just divine! All vegan as well, which is essential with my severe allergy.

Unfortunately, I had the salmon for dinner my first night and got pretty ill. I know things like this can happen so it didn't put me off from eating at the restuaraunt again...just NO fish

I booked this hotel as my "regular" go-to hotels were all full. I was SO pleasantly surprised. The hotel is a little gem in the city! The decor is a mix of hip/modern 80s with beautiful artwork and great touches. It had a perfect courtyard space to enjoy wines and the bonus was the wine bar/restauraunt! It was fantastic and so good that I didn't have to leave the hotel during the days I was there! The beds were AMAZING. thick fluffy soft goodness. Felt like a big hug! I will DEFINITELY stay here again and would highly recommend this to my friends and colleagues

Everything was wonderful with the property. It was an Architect’s dream!! They thought of everything!! Loved the room, where you had breakfast & the seating area/lobby. It was a great experience! And so close to all the restaurants etc in Lygon Street.

Housekeeping trolley outside my room in the morning before checkout time. Smashed fridge door. Tap too low in sink to easily fill kettle or drink bottle, easier to use the shower, but then you get wet feet!

The lobby area is beautiful. The staff were very accommodating. Super comfy bed. Some very thoughtful touches in the room (a beautiful, quality hairdryer and gorgeous toiletries for instance). Great shower. A top location with parking facilities.
