Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United Arab EmiratesFirst Of hotel location is changed, not as per booking.com, No lift, you get tired by climbing top, I was waited for more than 3.30 hrs to get the room. They took time for cleaning, by keeping the guest, delay was too much, they were not serious, just spoiled out time. When we said we are cancelling, they made it in 15 mins..I checked in at 5.30, disappointed!

UzbekistanThey send you to another Hotel, Old City Inn. They don’t speak English. Not clean, Bathroom smells can come into the room, Hair Dryer didn’t work. Shower doesn’t change Up and Below water flows. I had to figure out a way to make it work. Room 14. Room 7 was great.
Location and Cafe. They have great opportunity to be a great hotel. But they seem not to care.

PakistanThe mattresses in our room were like 15/20 years old. They were not comfortable at all. Since there was no empty room on ground floor, I stayed there. Breakfast was not served as continental. They served egg with 2/3 pieces of bread and little bit of cream.
The receptionist at least understood English.

The bathroom rugs/mats & room floor mats are no more present in any rooms. most important thing is the staircase no more lift and the steps are little difficult to carry your bags in to the room(not recommended to senior citizens).

Excellent location inside the Old City walls, a beautiful park outside, the sea, metro station and historic places 5-10 minutes walk. Clean room, silent AC, helpful staff.

the location was excellent. the hotel was right in the heart of the old city and it was very picturesque. the staff also went above and beyond - organizing transfers and going to great lengths to make everyone feel comfortable. the rooms were good value for money. I felt very safe for my entire stay, as a solo traveler.

AzerbaijanThe bathroom is moldy and smells like sewage probably because of the old pipe. Sometimes the sewage smell can be unbearable. There are no lifts.
I was given a room in Old City Inn hotel instead of City Walls Hotel. The room was comfortable and overlooks the old city. The price is among the cheapest. There are markets and restaurants just across the street past the old city wall. There was a radiator as well, and heated towel rack in the bathroom. The hot water for shower is great.

At first location is the best, in a heart of an old Baku, so from hotel by walk distance you can reach a lot of things. Metro station is also near in a case you need it, stuff was very friendly. They helped me a lot with information, with calling a taxi, with everything which I need.
