We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaQuite a number of things we were not happy with : 1. Bed comfort - Mattress was rock hard and not comfortable or pleasant to sleep on 2. Bedding - Totally not happy with the way the bedding setup was done... No mattress cover fitted, and the sheet supplied was was very small - almost comes out every time once sits or sleeps on the bed. 3. No chair in the room - One cant sit anywhere expect on the bed 4. House-keeping - Rooms are not cleaned regularly nor is bedding changed frequently and the our toilet paper ran out more than once and we had go and ask for it 5. Breakfast - Monotonous breakfast that lacked variety - Stayed for 5 days and our breakfast was the same everyday 6. Breakfast menu / condiments not labeled - One cant tell which sauce is what or condiments as these are not labeled 7. Room View - Room we booked in didn't have any view other than the massive next door building wall - So its forever dark and cant tell what time of the day is nor what the weather is like (unless you go outside) 8. Constant moving of chairs / beds / furniture - Not sure if it was the guests next door to us, or above us or the next door building. Noise too unbearable and impedes on one's sleep quality. 9. TV - No channels that caters for international guests - everything on TV on local language 10. Only tea provided in rooms, no coffee, milk or wooden spoon stirrers provided
The staff is quite helpful eventhough there is the language barrier.. They do go out of their way to help you especially Hussein. Wifi access is good once you figure the settings properly.

United Arab EmiratesWe reached at 9:30 pm and still had to wait for 30 mins to check in. They hadn't prepared the rooms. They started cleaning once we arrived. I don't understand the reason why as my booking was non-refundable. Location is poor, especially for a tourist. It's at least a 15 min taxi ride away from the city center. Room smelled like a berry chewing gum or a cough syrup. They poorly attached two single beds to make a double bed, when we specially requested for a double bed. Breakfast was mainly cold with cheese, jam, butter and breads. Cleanliness was okayish. My wife ofcourse didn't find it clean enough for her standards. You can easily find better places to stay in the city centre, where people are more warm and the property is clean and better maintained. You might have to pay marginally more, but it will be worth it!
Nothing worth mentioning It is value for money in a way, but you get similar stays in the city center for marginally more cost.
