Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe double beds are two mattresses pushed together which can be quite uncomfortable, and the hot water takes a few minutes to come on if you turn on the shower.
Location is decent, not too far from the metro. It's a wonderfully quiet place with easy access to amenities from the shop down the road. Staff are friendly and speak English. Room was spotless with shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap provided. I'll definitely come back!

AustraliaThis is a fabulous hotel. The staff speak good English and are so helpful. They are very kind, generous & obliging. Our room & bathroom were incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The shower had good flow with nice hotwater. We had access to tea and coffee anytime. It is well located with a supermarket and fruit shop very close by. The metro is only a 5 minute walk away.

RussiaSometimes you need to wait to have hot water, and you can hear quite annoying buzzing from air conditioner from next room(if they using it), but it is ok, because hotel has a lot of advantages! Thank you very much for great time in Baku.
Great location: 5 minutes to Nizami metro station, 30-40 minutes on foot to Old Town and Formula 1 (if you are here for it), supermarket in the next house, restaraunts in 5-10 minutes. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Kind and friendly staff. Simple, but nutritious breakfast. Excellent price-quality ratio.

Homey, quiet & very clean. Nice breakfast & good wifi. Very good value, even had free & secure parking. Easy walk to metro station & markets a few doors down. We had a nice bright room with view. & enjoyed our week stay. Great restaurant right down the street, Laziz, with lots of delish premade food. The hotel manager even did a load of laundry for us for a very reasonable price.
