Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SlovakiaDuring our 5 nights long stay there was no housekeeping. Not even waste bins were emptied and only third request for a new toilet paper was successful. Pool was closed; Spa did not work; Rooms are smoking which means they stink of cigarattes; as lake is right next to the hotel, expect mosquitoes. Bathroom had walk in shower and bath with shower, only walk in worked.
Friendly reception staff; possibility to buy a sim car and exchange money at reception; OK breakfast; the suite is really big; easy and secure to park; a supermarket, ATM and meal options right across the street, good WiFi

PolandIn one of the lamps there was a light bulb that did not light up. We had to change the room for an extra fee because the carpet was very worn. There is no coffee machine in the hotel. Only instant coffee from a jar. You cannot order coffee in the room even instant coffee.
The breakfast big and tasty. You can eat inside or outside. The room was spacious but at an extra cost. Large rooms do not have balconies, only a large window with a railing. Bedding good. Very good hotel food ordered à la carte and brought to the room.

NEXT DAY AT BREAKFAST, THE BUFFET WAS LITERALLY SPREAD OVER ONE DOUBLE SIZED TABLE ONLY AND LITERALLY HAVING EVERYTHING IN JUST ONE SALAT PLATES EACH, OMLETTE WAS IN HOT BUFFET, BUT UNDER IT WAS NO FIRE, AND AS OF COLD WEATHER IT WAS COMPLETELY COLD, NO STAFF ATTENDING GUESTS IN THE BREAKFAST HALL, NO JUICE OF ANY TYPE ON THE TABLE. PROPERTY IS HAVING 5 STAR RATING, WHERE YOU SHOULD GET VARIETY OF BREADS, HOWEVER THERE WAS ONLY ONE SORT OF BREAD AVAILABLE, WHICH WAS HARD AND OLD. AFTER COMING BACK TO ROOM, I ASKED FOR ROOM CHANGE, RECEPTION SAID TO ME TO COME TO RECEPTION, AT 12 PM FOR CHANGING OF ROOM, WITH COMPLETE LUGGAGE, AND TO MY IMAGINATION, I WAS GIVEN A NEW ROOM 204, ON THE SAME FLOOR, BUT I WAS TOLD TO BRING LUGGAGE DOWN TO RECEPTION FIRST, ANYWAYS ROOMS 204, WHICH WAS HAVING FAIR RECEPTION OF WIFI, HOWEVER THERE WERE BIG MOSQUITOS IN THE ROOM, AC NOT WORKING, IT WAS SET TO NOT WORK, AS IT SHOWS ON SCREEN THAT, FUNCTION NOT AVAILABLE. WHEN COMPAINED TO THE RECEPTION REGARDING MOSQUITOS AND AC, RECEPTION IS COMPLAINING TO ME THAT IN ROOM 208 I WAS COMPLAINING ABT WIFI, AND NOW IN 204 REGARDING MOSQUITOS AND AC, I WAS TOLD TO OPEN THE DOOR OF GALLERY FOR FRESH AIR, BUT I REALISED THE HOTEL IS CALLED LAKE PALACE, HOWEVER IT IS NOT A LAKE, IT IS A WATER SWAMP, WHICH HELPS IN GROWTH OF MOSQUITOS, I THINK NAME OF THE HOTEL SHOULD BE, "CITY SWAMP PALACE HOTEL" INSTEAD OF LAKE PALACE HOTEL.

United Arab EmiratesI booked the room for 2 nights. Ac wasn’t working in room, to only find out the whole building ac wasnt working. They said the ac will work the next day. Next day I went out came back about 3:30 afternoon expecting the ac is working. Still not working so I asked the manager I would lime a refund. The manager was awfully rude! Not supporting at all, and we been arguing for 10 mins. I left and book in another hotel. That hotel is nowhere near to 5 stars!!! It a 1 star. Breakfast was a 1 star rating too.

CroatiaIt is very dirty hotel, smell of the smoke is very strong. Bathrooms are not clean, air conditioning isn’t working properly. TV is not working at all. Avoid this hotel especially if you’re staying with the kids.

United Arab EmiratesThis hotel is absolutely disgusting and wonder how is it rated as 5star ? Starting of with check-in, the booking clearly says check-in from 1400. I was there at hotel by 1400 after long flight and to my surprise the hotel says, the room is not ready and will take 45 mins to be ready. I was kept waiting in the lobby for 45 mins till the room was available. Once after check-in, the room was smelling of cigarette. The bed was soo uncomfortable which I guess even a 1 star hotel might have better bed than this hotel. The room curtain was broken that we could not either open or close it properly. And this gives access to balcony which has a broken door that never closes. I had to sneak through the door to access the balcony and then use the coffee table to close the curtain so that none can see our room from outside. The sounds from next room was soo obvious that, I was embarrassed in front of my family when we could hear the next room couples having sex and moaning. This was soo embarrassment to me while this hotel does not have any privacy, Moving to washroom, The whole of washroom had only 1 light source with absolute darkness. The wash basin drainage was not working at all with water being clogged in restricting us from using the washbasin. The bath tub did not have hot water at all and had to manage with cold shower. The hotel has spa facility and when we got ready to use the spa down, the reception informs us that the spa manager is not there and thus cannot use it. I wonder why the board was kept on the reception with spa details ?
There is hardly anything I liked. Such a disgusting hotel and never recommended,
