I think the main problem is that the hotel over promises and underdelivers. I think they ticked every box regarding the room amenities when in fact very few of them were available or existing. The rooms desperately need to be repainted, there are dirty marks all over every single wall and the floors are dirty and scuffed. I stayed in two separate rooms and both bathrooms had hairs from previous guests. The sheets had holes in them. The fridge in the room smelt putrid. There is no soundproofing so you will hear every sound from the corridors, nearby rooms and if you are on the top floor you will hear every time a chair is moved in the terrace restaurant above.

The WiFi was very fast, the location is great and the lady working at reception is very very nice

Allocation of room. One of us on floor 1, the other on floor 3. Repairs to fittings required. Asked for toilet paper, but not provided. Rooms not cleaned at all, including emptying of bins. No milk at breakfast for coffee.

the restaurant is on the fifth floor and unfortunately the hotel do not have a lift so it was tiring taking the stairs but the view on top was amazing

-It's inside a maze-like alley, no signs outside, might get a little complicated to find at night.

Very near to the tourist locations, in the heart of the old city of Baku. Everything is pretty much walkable from here. The metro station is also walkable. There are a lot of food joints in the area.

Lift/ elevator was not there. Very tiring for senior citizens like me to climb the stairs to the top floor. Lady at the reception was very hard working but could not not communicate properly in English and had a rather angry disposition. The gentleman at the reception during late hours was pleasant natured and more welcoming.

Stayed with my wife. Our room was on the top floor. No lift. Tiresome climb up the stairs to the top floor. Had a splendid view of Caspian sea from our room. Breakfast was good.

The hotel accepts only payment in cash at the desk (Azerbaijani Manat or EUR). They dont accept payment by credit card at the desk, nor paymet by card via Booking.com system. (Even though the Booking.com-confirmation writes the opposite.)

I was lucky enough to have a room on the 4th floor, with a sea-view balcony. The location is brilliant, right in the heart of the old city, at walking distance from the main touristic attractions. Very clean, the restaurant is on the 5th floor, with a beautiful view over the sea, the flame towers and other interesting buildings. Great value for money!

there is no tissue, no floor mat in the room. this is very bad

If I say about location that is perfectly awesome. the old city is perfectly very fantastic area. If I say something about breakfast there is something missing. like they do not serve water with breakfast but it is very important thing. room service also not much good if I say they did not serve tissue paper, floor mat .. it is not a good idea.

The bed was uncomfortable 😫 They put 2 single beds together to make it 1 double bed.

the linens was very old, not clean and cut, the bad smell in the bathroom because of pumps and a lot of bugs in the bathroom. And the house keeping is not daily during our stay they cleaned the room twice only and one of them without changing the linens.

Staff was very helpful, respectful and hospitality. The women in morning shift was very friendly but i don't know her name. Raghif in the night shift was very helpful and friendly. We loved Baku and Azrabijanian people
