We liked everything.

The property was perfect. What you see in the pics is what you get and much more. Myself and my sister were extremely impressed with the comfort of the room, kitchen facilities within the room, high levels of cleanliness, excellent location. Furthermore, what really makes The Melbourne Inn a home from home is its staff who went above and beyond in helping both of us at all times, and did wonderfully with a reassuring smile , but also professionally. All the staff were brilliant and we still remember some of the names of the staff who attended to us. A big thank you to, Vicky, Louise, Beth, Devone, Jelisa, and Chanel (The Manager). I look forward to staying again in your lovely property. Raul and Aida.

Everything! The pool is lovely and the staff so nice. It is the second time we go to Melbourne Inn and we plan to go here again in the future! Very very close to the beach just few minutes walk and close to restaurants and bars so nice!

Absolutely lovely hotel. The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. Close to the beach, but away from the bars enough to have a quiet sleep! Lovely, big beds - incredibly clean rooms, hot water and a great pool. Best hotel for value we've found on the island.

We didn’t have room service for four days, only clean towels cause we requested it or we was lucky enough to bump into housekeeping on our floor! The staff chasing us up for a $35 late check out fee and we haven’t even checked out yet. (Extra two hours)Didn’t even offer a complimentary check out which most hotels do and I work in a five star hotel so I know exactly how customer service should be. Ask the staff to come and help us with the suitcase, as there is no elevator as he was rushing us out and only took one suitcase and never came back up to collect the rest. Call us at 1 o’clock on the dot to get the money and continuously afterwards after we told him that we are coming as We are just closing our suitcases and we need help, not even a 15 minute grace period. I felt harassed, especially when we was already checking out and we was getting ready to go downstairs. We also asked staff to look at the sink because we thought it was blocked and there was no release button for the plug, we called reception, and it took them an hour to come upstairs and have a look after Calling twice, when housekeeping came, she went straight to the sink and release the plug for us, she had an attitude like we were supposed to know. Firstly, where I’m from we have a release button behind the tap to release the water. I didn’t know I had to put my hands in a dirty sink to release the dirty water.

The convenience of it being near the nightlife, and the price.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I didn't get to stay longer.

The communication and hospitality level of the staff was superb, even before I met them. Twas a lovely and quiet environment, which I LOVED and the location is central and convenient when it comes to food and such. Overall 100/10!

There was absolutely no food available. We had to walk to restaurants outside for every meal which was an inconvenience. It would be great if at least breakfast was provided. The water was cold in the morning there was no hot water . The staff complained that we were too loud in our room that was very rude.

The location was ok we could walk to the beach and restaurants. The place is clean and the pool area was well kept and relaxing

Inn: First, I requested a queen bed but received separate two fulls. I did not make a big deal. Pool space however, needed a lot of cleaning and upkeep. The chairs surrounded the pool were soiled and not appealing. Nothing like the photos on website. Near by: Customer service in town was okay. Customer service was sub par. It wasn't a very welcoming experience.

Customer service was excellent and rooms were clean. Inn is in close distance to many restaurants. Beach was near by where was a plus.

Loved the room and the fact it had our own kitchenette. The terrace with tables and chairs is a GREAT asset. A GREAT family oriented vacation rental. Met many very friendly people from around the world, and our Hostess was beautiful.

Staff were very polite and helpful. I was a lone female and stayed 8 nights. Check-in was straightforward and clear information given. I felt safe at all times, and all members of staff were accommodating and polite. My room was clean and comfortable with a ceiling fan and air conditioning. Property is close to shops, restaurants and the beach all just a few minutes walk. I would recommend this property, which also has a very nice outdoor communal terrace area and small pool.

I had a room with 2 beds put together so it was uncomfortable. Also, I had mosquitos in the room and I asked the front desk to help me put the fan on and they did not.

There was an issue with the hot water which sometimes meant that we had to take a Luke warm shower, but who needs piping hot water in Barbados. Not a problem to us, just being honest.

This is a 3 star property and is value for money. If you want 4 or 5 star then you will pay much more for it. We had everything that we needed in the hotel room, fridge/freezer, kettle, microwave, and a huge comfy bed. There is air con and ceiling fan, and a balcony. The rooms were cleaned every other day but if you asked for clean towels they were available. In fact, if you asked for anything, the staff were really helpful and polite and did not disappoint. There is a brand new beautiful pool area, which we used daily, after the beach, and most of the time, we were the only people in it. Five minute safe walk to beach and bars.
