The scent in the room. The hotel should try to neutralize the odor in the room left by previous guests I assume over a period of time. I didn’t like the breakfast I ordered from the in-house restaurant. Other than that a great stay.

Very convenient location. It is a beach front property so I get to wake up to the waves and seeing the ocean. There was a restaurant on location. The convenience of an elevator was a plus. Shopping, pharmacy, restaurants, fast food and gas station were very very close. Walking distance to 6mix, a lovely hill spot.

The beach isn’t very swimmable, but you can walk to better beaches.

The location is perfect. It is walking distance to St. Lawrence Gap and the Worthing Food Court.

Would have liked some more basic supplies eg. Coffee, tea bags etc. Dish soap was provided when we requested. Hand/Face soap was supplied but no shampoo or conditioner, not a problem as we had our own.

Location is superb! The beach and the pool were very enjoyable, especially as it was quiet and very private, although all the beaches in Barbados are public. Grocery stores were within a few hundred metres and lots of choice of restaurants - all walkable! Beautiful sunsets.

I liked everything and will be back. My only suggestions would be 1) a better arrangement for chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Directly in front of the hotel a guy comes and sets up chairs and umbrellas for rent but they look pretty old and I never knew what time he’d arrive.2) better frying pan in room, a mixing bowl and a sharp knife.

We loved the beachfront location! Open the gate and you’re on the beach. White sand and water the most beautiful color of blue, palm trees, just gorgeous . Every room has a view from the balcony. The ground floor rooms open to the pool, great for our friends who have two little boys. Everyone who works here was super helpful and friendly. Supermarkets nearby so you can prepare some meals in the room or sit by the pool and order lunch from the menu. The pool was wonderful and warm. Rooms are big!

Bath towels were a little of the thin side. unfortunately some folk were of the "must reserve a sun-bed by the pool with a towel" mentality very early in the morning which meant everyone else followed suit in order to get a bed as on some days there were insufficient for everyone. Just an observation but whilst the hotel do offer money exchange (of small amounts) you really are better popping over the road to the bank as exchange rate much better...............

Absolutely superb holiday at what must be one of the best hotels this side of the island. Loved the fact it was "small" e.g. approx 30 rooms with each room overlooking the sea/beach. Kept extremely clean with daily room service supplying loads of towels (including an abundance of beach towels), change of sheets and even spraying the room when asked to try and keep the dreaded mosquito's at bay! Has a very light, airy, spacious feel about the place and this includes the rooms which are huge and offer a great size balcony with chairs/table provided. Lots of wardrobe space and oodles of drawer space for storage. Also small safe available - sufficient for keeping passports, keys, money. Excellent powerful shower. Very quiet location with just a bit of music on some evenings from the hotel next door but this ends at a reasonable time. Location is perfect - right on the beach and within easy walking distance for places to eat, bars, bank, grocery shops etc. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful - particular thanks to all the reception team who were only too willing to provide useful information and generally have a chat. The pool is lovely and clean. Kitchenette is well kitted out with most people using this to prepare their own breakfast. Overall a great hotel with many folk already enquiring about booking for next year.....

That we didn’t realize they did food until the last day! If there was a menu put in the room we would have realized they did food and had breakfast everyday there on our terrace ( we used to go walking around looking for somewhere for breakfast!) we knew there was a restaurant onsite but it was never advertised to us and no menu on the door with opening time etc, we just thought it was open for special occasions. Other residents were under the same impression as us also, we spoke about it and they all said ‘no they dont do food here’. Last day we saw someone having breakfast outside so asked and it seems yes they did do breakfast and gave us a menu!! We were gutted as we would have eaten there a lot more had we known

Not enough sun beds, several afternoons we ended up sitting at the tables and chairs as the sun beds were "claimed" by towels, despite there being a sign saying you couldn't reserve sun beds if you weren't there. The hotel bar isn't open in the evenings, which is fine as there is so much nearby, but on the evenings it rained, would have been nice to have somewhere on site to hang out and have a drink.

My one complaint is that I would have appreciated having some complimentary shampoo&conditioner. Also I wish I had known in advance that everything is closed Christmas Day (and most everything Boxing Day)

The staff were very friendly and the location right on the beach was great. I wish I had brought goggles so that I could have done more exploring of the ocean life. I heard there were sea turtles! The room and the hotel were clean and kept clean. It was easy to get around via bus.

The hotel does not have loungers on the beach , only around the pool. However they can be hired nearby .

A minor point but the restaurant is for use only when you really need it, eg for first breakfast. Otherwise grocery next door and supermarkets 5 minutes walk away for breakfast (and lunch?) on the balcony.

One of the best locations on the island, unless you want excessive luxury and in-house nightlife. Large, clean room with a full kitchen. Large balcony with beautiful view (get upper floor, west end if possible). Building is 23 years old but looks new. Pool area never crowded, chairs always available. Immediate beach is small but ideal. A low key facility, no touristy vibes. Fast food 2 minutes away, excellent restaurants 5 minutes by bus or taxi, or 15-20 minutes walk. Beach bars almost next door. Gazebo bar by the pool.

Bed wasn’t particularly comfortable…

Staff were really friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for you. We had an amazing room that over looked the pool, a wonderful view of the beach and sea. The pool is on the small side but being right on the beach negated that issue. We certainly will be booking to come back next year but for 2 weeks instead of one!!
