Some areas are a little tired and whilst the facilities and meals are great for families those looking for a quieter venue during school holidays might prefer to stay elsewhere.

The location and friendly staff make this hotel a pleasant place to stay.

As the owners are aware, most of the property is somewhat shabby and in need of a refresh. I understand that this is planned for 2025.

The staff were all helpful and friendly. The food was generally very good. The water taxi shuttle between the other Elegant hotels is a lovely way to add variety to the holiday. We loved the "chic" vibe of the property - please don't change that with next year's renovation!

It needs maintenance particularly on the electrical side. Seem to have a plumbing problem. Just needs a proper update and repairs to broken tiles etc.

The location is great, the beach is beautiful and the water is clear with small waves. Ideal for small children. The included water sports were amazing.

The villas are very comfortable, breakfast offers choices and it was interesting to have the possibility to go to thé tamarind to have lunch. It was good. Nice beach even if it is small. Animation is great.

The rooms are a bit outdated and in need of repairs - especially bathrooms (plumbing barely worked). Some staff members especially in the breakfast shift were downright rude. We were initially assigned to a garden view room although we booked an ocean view one - and the 'error' was corrected only on the 3rd day of our stay after the other party left, and many long conversations. It took between 1.5 and 2.25 hours to have lunch/dinner at the ala carte restaurant - with nerve wrecking pauses between the appetizer and the main course. Only once were we able to book a seat at the buffet style dinner - we were constantly told that the place was booked. Also very much unlike a vacation - all dinners would need to be booked. Food is a hit or miss, but mostly miss. Some of the meals were downright inedible. Portions in the ala carte restaurant were ridiculously small (i.e. an appetizer had only 3 calamary rings of 5mm each. Children's menu has only unhealthy choices. The coffee would arrive almost by the end of the meal at breakfasts, and sometimes would not arrive at all. Our mini-fridge was replenished only once with 3 bottles of water, and never again, despite asking the housekeeping staff. There are espresso machines in the rooms however there were coffee pods only on the first day, and never again. The staff at the bars takes pleasure in making you wait and wait and wait for the drink you ordered while they chat with each other. There is a ridiculously small area in the beach left for people to swim - the rest is either very rocky (with boulders in fact) or marked for boats.

The one thing that is very rare and I truly appreciated was the fact that playing radio was not allowed in the hotel - which was a blessing as we were not subjected to others' musical tastes. The complimentary water sports are a great addition. Although the hotel was almost full it did not feel congested and there were always available chairs at the beach or by the pool. The pools, the beach and all common areas were very clean and neat. Some staff members were very pleasant to deal with. The view from our ocean-view room was more than beautiful.

The food was definitely buffet style, and could have been a bit more varied. We didn’t try the restaurants at the other hotels in the group which may have offered more variety.

Great location and outdoor space. Friendly staff. We were upgraded to a larger suite on arrival which was very spacious. The finishes in the room were a little dated but we knew ahead of time that the rooms are due a refurb shortly. We had a great holiday and would happily come again!
