You will definitely want to rent a vehicle if you stay here, as it’s a little off the beaten path. There aren’t a lot of restaurants or shops in the area, but Oistins is a 5-10 min drive and there are lots there. Also the water was a bit choppy for swimming but you can drive to Miami Beach which is also only 5 min!

Very cute seaside villa which was perfect for remote work! The wifi is fast and even reached out into the lawn area. We loved sleeping to the sound of crashing waves. Sharice was very helpful in helping us arrange a rental car and Ginger, the housekeeper was lovely! There is a security guard on site every evening.

We had to ask for extra towels and wash cloths after every cleaning, though we asked at check in. Beach was super windy and not swimmable.

The view from our room was beautiful, the room was large and airy, complete kitchen. Cleaning was every 3 days.

Mosquitos were prevalent at times and the unsightly derelict hotels overlooking the beach next door.

Proximity to a lovely quiet beach & the garden sunbed’s. We also liked the surf bar nearby.

Only thing I can say is if it had AC it would be perfect.

I loved the location. It was more remote but very nice breeze was awesome. I came armed with repellent from other reviews and I didn’t need any of it. I was terrified of not having AC and being eaten alive by mosquitoes but that did not get bitten. Beautiful view of the ocean from the courtyard apartment. Despite the reviews saying you need to rent a car there is a bus stop right near there so I would recommend that instead of renting a car. If you rent a car be aware you will be driving on the opposite side of the car and the opposite side of the road. The round about’s are insane and you will feel like you are taking your life in your hands (I assure you that you are) The place has been newly renovated and it is very spacious and comfortable. Very nice modern bathrooms and the beds are comfortable. The staff is great and very accommodating. Do make sure that you read your check in information because they need your flight number and arrange transportation from the airport which is really nice.

Hadn't realised we'd be next to a derelict hotel that rather spoilt the local vibe. Also, there's limited places to eat out and sell-catering we found a it tricky as it's not like there's a Sainsbury's - just a poorly (by UK/European standards)stocked shop within walking distance.

Acccomodation was of a very good standard and the staff extremely accommodating (lending us their mosquito spray, booking taxis).

A/C not included in the price. A very noisy barking dog at 6:30am each morning; I understand that the property has no control over this, however it wasn’t very relaxing being woken up so early. It was a little too remote for us.

large bedroom wonderful large balcony with sun loungers, table & chairs, beautiful view. All the staff were friendly & helpful.

Nothing is really walkable here, so you need to take the bus or rent a car. We'd love to stay again although without a car it would not be quite as easy.

We loved it here from the moment we arrived. Quiet location with other quiet guests, although everyone was friendly; listened to the sound of the ocean to go to sleep. We didn't need to use the A/C due to the lovely breeze. I loved the small number of units, and the feeling of peace and independence we had. The staff were always helpful if we needed anything.

We were provided with a kitchen and bathroom, but no basic necessities for these such as washing up liquid, salt/pepper, shampoo, soap for the shower. It seems a waste for every customer to have to repurchase these items when they arrive.

The resort exceeded my expectations. Incredibly beautiful buildings and location.

There is nothing really nearby for coffee or snacks: you need to walk half an hour or drive. The beaches in the Southern part of the islands are more for surfing than for swimming.

The villa was amazing, with the continuous crashing of waves in the wind. Very private. Very frequent Silver sands -Oistins - Bridgetown van/buses.

We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it but just be aware the location is a little remote but there are very frequent buses running to go to Oistins, The Gap, Bridgetown which are just $3.50

Fantastic room - light and airy, spacious and really clean. Beautiful views (We were in sea view). All staff are so helpful- great communication in the run up to our stay and really accommodating when we needed to store our luggage and shower etc due to a late flight

Two things, but neither are the fault of the property , rather general comments on the location. 1/ beach not suitable for people who lack the confidence to go into crashing waves. I spent there a few days and the sea was always too wild, day and night, so I had to look for a different beach (45 min walk) for with calmer water. subsequently I visited maybe 5 beaches and all had more peaceful water. 2/ creepy building j right next door with a lot of broken windows kinda detracts from the otherwise beautiful spot.

Clean, spacious, quiet, safe, friendly, as pictured place

There is nothing, that I really disliked, however it's worth updating the list of apartment's amenities In my cottage B, there was no: dishwasher, washing machine or dryer (there was laundry service available for additional fee), mosquito net, sofa (there were two armchairs instead), it is also not soundproof (as there is no glass in the windows, just wooden shutters), although there were all included in apartment's description. The bedroom is on the mezzanine (which is visible on the pictures) and the stairs are quite steep. As for the location, it's rater far from the shops, restaurants or entertainment (there is a beach bar bery close, but they close around 7 - 8 pm in business days), the nearest beaches - walking distance are not recommended for sunbath, as they are really small, covered by seaweed and the weaves are too strong. There is a very nice Miami Beach at the distance of few kilometers, so you would really need to rent a car to have an access to the possibilities of leisure offered in the area.

It's a quiet and peaceful place (apart form the sound of the ocean and whistling frogs, which I really enjoyed) , far from the big resorts and crowds it's also stylish and very clean. Most important fitting and equipment was there. The garden is really beautiful and the view (cottage B). There is also an additional small bedroom on mezzanine with an extra single bed which is not mentioned in the apartment description.

Unfortunately, the apartment was below expectations. The biggest disadvantages I will mention: no panes or mosquito nets on the windows and doors (you can't stand being attacked by mosquitoes all the time), the whole apartment is quite gloomy and outdated, there are no furnishings in the garden (despite the fact that they appear in the pictures in the offer on booking.com), you can only see the beach and the sea from the apartment while standing.

Responsive and supportive personnel, organized transport from and to airport.

This property is in a very poor area which is fine. It’s off the beaten path. I got in late and someone picked me up which was great. The room has no AC and the windows are just open. This led to a huge problem with mosquitoes that was unavoidable. H the ey give you a mosquito net over the bed so they know it’s an issue and they give you some kind of material that is supposed to burn and distract the mosquitoes but it doesn’t work. I couldn’t sleep all night and had to check out the next day. I couldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The girl was very nice and professional. Do not stay here unless you bring a bunch of anti mosquito stuff. Also they don’t provide soap …. I was expected to have my own soap which was the first time I’d ever experienced this. Very cheap mindset. You won’t find cool shopping in the area - other parts of Barbados are fun but this area is so run down - there is nothing fun there.
