The room was dark and a very small window, the bed wasn't comfortable and the owner was very inconsiderate. I was shocked and disturbed when I was woken up by him at 11:30 PM to demand payment for my advance booking and other nights again of waking me up and others to ask the guest for their payments. He told me if I don't pay, he will give the room to others which was another lies. This was completely unacceptable and disrupted my sleep. Additionally, I have noticed that he speaks loudly late at night or early in the morning, which was disruptive and inconsiderate to his guests. He didn't have quality of managing and understanding the ethos of running such a business. I have requested the receipt and it took 5 days to provide me the correct receipts. Also, the area it's not safe at night for solo travellers especially women. In the hot weather, they even not bothered to provide a fridge for the guests. Also he refused the charge by booking. Com and charged me 9 Dollars extra.

It's central and not far from the beach, good WiFi and clean

It was very central, high speed WiFi and the owner’s wife was very pleasant and welcoming. It was the cheapest in the area but needs lots of improvement.

While some may prefer a firm bed, I personally don’t but I eventually got accustomed to its firmness after being there for a few nights.

Room: Hot water was available. Room was clean. TV had streaming apps & Netflix. Location: Extremely central, in the heart of the city. Food: Infront of the Motel, there is a restaurant which sells good and reasonably priced food. Ofcourse, there are several other food places and cafes nearby. Safety: I only walked on the main roads and not on the side roads so I felt safe. Staff were very friendly. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Alexander for having me.

It’s hard to find, in the back of a parking lot. I traveled alone and the location didn’t feel safe for a woman at all. Everyone I spoke to recommended I shouldn’t walk alone after dark, which led me to staying locked in the room on a Friday evening after 6pm. Maybe if you’re a man, that won’t be an issue. The room had a few cockroaches that came out to play in the middle of the night.

Good WiFi and the owner was very friendly and helpful.

The shower head is fixed and needs to be operated by a valve that is 2m high above the floor. This could be a problem for shorter people. The room is very dark and extremely sparsely equipped. Some basic stuff like a kettle would be a great addition that doesn't really cost anything. The night lamp didn't work.

A great place if you arrive late or leave Barbados early. Very good price. Conveniently located in the centre of Bridgetown. Everything is easily walkable, shops, banks, etc. Host gave clear instructions and was very helpful with everything. Good, hot shower. Ample off-street parking. Clean room. Good AC. Very quiet but there were no other guests.

Did not have the correct address, and failed to provide it when asked for it. It is located 100meters south of what appears on google maps. on the right side if you are walking towards Warf Rd/the river. Be careful when quoting taxi prices with the owner, or risk being charged USD instead of Barbados dollars

    Good price and location

I was initially in room 5 which was close to the entrance. I requested another room and was moved to room 1 at the end of the hallway. This was due to one of the sliding shower doors almost coming off the hinges and wouldn't close. Not sure why anyone would be put in a room that was not satisfactory. The bed was VERY FIRM so keep that in mind also. In my new room the tv would not stay on and the mount did not swivel. When the full security gate was closed, I had to squeeze through a small opening to get out or in. I hope this review is helpful.

The location is ideal and right in the heart of downtown Bridgetown. Everything is within walking distance including a supermarket, clothing stores, and a restaurant right in front. The host was very nice and welcomed me upon my arrival. The A/C worked really well and the building was quiet. My stay was for 3 days from 5-8 Aug.

i did not like the fact that I had had to open the heavy gate and untie this long chain to enter late at nights and leave early in the morning. I understand it is a security feature. But for the price it should have someone there to do that.

well the place did meet my expectation as I require basic stuff which is AC ,internet and hot water.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable, very sparse facilities within the room, high smell of bleach from cleaning.

The owner was very friendly and informative; the place was decently located near to the heart of downtown. The core facilities within the room worked well.

The bed has a plastic sheet so makes you extremely sweaty in the night. Walls are paper thin, made of plywood like material which means you can literally hear people going to the toilet next door. A lot of discourteous people staying there who have the TV full blast or have extremely loud phone conversations from 5am onwards. Bathroom is in the room separated by a little partition with little light and the shower is a tap not a shower. All this is feedback rather than to put future patrons off. We would stay there again. A mini-fridge would be helpful as well as a lamp that works.

Great location, friendly staff. Great aircon and TV. Nearby food truck is amazing. 20 mins walk to Pebbles beach. Fabulous option if you want to stay in Bridgetown and don’t mind a basic setup.

The room did not have a fridge. Could not store food or drinks. Was hoping that they could have at least an ice machine. The property is also a little hard to find. Google map will bring you on the other side of the street and about three houses down. Considering that the property is located far behind the street, they should put a sign near the sidewalk.

It is conveniently located near the bus station, restaurants, the beach and cultural landmarks. The bed was firm and extremely comfortable and the wifi was very fast. The rooms have extremely high ceilings.

Curtis is a great host. The room's do what they're built for. Typical over-night motel. It was a little hard to find, but don't worry! Travel north on Tudor Street and you'll find it tucked in on the left-hand side next to a nice fastfood restaurant.
