Can't think of something I disliked, honestly.

The staff is absolutely adorable! unlike the generic style of resorts where you are treated politely and nothing more, here everyone has a personality while also doing everything in their power to cater to your needs. In addition, the rooms are clean and spacious, and better yet, the resort is facing the ocean, offering a glut of breathtaking vistas to awe at.

Their website said the beach is 5 min walk away, it's more like 15-20. There were also quite a few mosquitos in our room, but the owner gave us some citronella oil to help ward that off. The pillows could have been better.

Beautifully curated spot with a great pool. Restaurant was able to accommodate very severe allergies. Extremely relaxing vibes.

Pity there is no beach, if so it would be a ten and of ten.

A calm place, well maintained and excellent staff, booked late and was excellent value for money. Comfy room with a little terrace.

The location was a little remote with little amenities within walking distance. Public transport is available, although it took us a while to work out the bus route as there is no information online. Perhaps this could be explained at check-in?

Hotel restaurant was excellent. Staff very helpful. Hotel design, rooms, and facilities were all wonderful.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Oceanblue! The staff was very friendly and informative about everything. We quickly bonded with all of them! I got attached to Parker *bird* I would definitely stay here again whenever I visit Barbados and would highly recommend it to visitors!

nothing to dislike!

Stay at OceanBlue Resort!! It is breathtakingly beautiful and has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced! The owners are so kind to their guests and their staff. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and very, very clean. I even had a patio where I could sit in the evenings. The restaurant is excellent, and, unlike most resort and hotel restaurants, is very reasonably priced. The chef prepared everything so well that I ate all my meals there. I recommend the coconut shrimp appetizer, the kingfish w/potatoes and veggies and the flying fish and chips. The cheesecake and ice cream were also excellent. My tour cancelled on me and I had trouble finding a taxi that would take me to the wildlife sanctuary for under $175 and the owner James took me there and back and refused to take any money even though I offered several time. He also found out that one guest had their luggage still at the airport and took her down there as well. His sister and wife also help run the resort and they are equally wonderful. Simply put, they just truly want their guests to have a great vacation. They made my stay so incredible.

Please note that everything below is just my personal opinion 😊 This is a place you want to return. It's a great hotel to relax and recharge. Cozy and comfortable. The owners put their soul into this place and it can be felt in everything: aesthetics, cleanliness, comfort and peace and, of course, the attitude towards guests: everyone is very friendly, but does not violate personal space, all issues, if they arise, are resolved as quickly as possible. Local artists are invited once a week, so guests can enjoy a concert, don't worry, it won't interfere with your relaxation. There is a restaurant on the territory, the food is very tasty, and the staff are just lovely, very friendly, hospitable and polite! Guys, you really are great 😊 Breakfast is served here from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. if I’m not mistaken. You can pay with card, cash in US$ or BBD. The sound of the ocean can be heard even with the windows closed and it is like a lullaby) Beautiful dawns, if you wake up at dawn, of course. You have to walk to the beach, but it’s quite windy on this coast, so swimming in the ocean is not always an option, it is great that there is a swimming pool with the ocean view on the property. If you enjoy windsurfing or kitesurfing - this is the place for you. It you want to reach calmer beaches you will have to go by car or bus. The front desk staff will help you hail a taxi (about $25-30, may be more depending on where you’re going) or you can try public transportation (only $1.75 or 3.50 BBD, you can pay in both currencies). Personally, I think that bus #11 is a must try. You may be temporarily shocked, but it's fun and definitely something you'll remember. The thing is, you’ll want to come back here.

housekeeping must improve. i had a pizzabox that they placed back on the refrigerator. a used plate they didnt remove. it seems they just made the bed and mopped the floor. towels were placed on the bed. terrace was not cleaned at all.

breakfast was simple but good. could start earlier instead of 7.30. last day at 7.30 there was still no coffee and the staff was busy preparing the restaurant. staff was friendly. you can see that the personal touch of the owners is what makes this resort run. beautiful location. very close to the sea. swimming pool was in my opinion too deep. you can only use the pool if you know how to swim. otherwise you have to stay at the poolbar side. the restaurant has a lot of potential if the menu can be a little bigger. no steaks on the menu. room was good size, bed was great. aircon worked perfectly. no desk in the room to place my laptop. wifi was good.

I didn't like being awakened by the grounds being maintained at 8a while I was off vacationing. It also would have been nice if food was available between 2 and 6p, and later than 9p. A more extensive menu selection would have been great, and microwaves in the rooms or a common area, especially since food was not always available, would be appreciated.

The resort was beautiful and clean. It is a peaceful and serene place that allows you to really disconnect if that is what's needed. I am not a drinker, but my friends loved the drinks. The staff was friendly and engaging. I liked that I had time alone in the pool and I didn't ever have to fight for a lounger. The views were breathtaking.

Although the sea view was amazing that’s where it finished you could not get near to it as there was no beach. There were no umbrellas as they had been damaged and new ones hadn’t arrived. The resort was off the beaten track would have been better to be aware of this before arriving.

The restaurant was very good value with good choices. The ribs are a must to try. The bedrooms were very spacious with the best A/C but were dated as were the bathroom facilities. The property has a charm of its own, with the cockerel waking you to “Parker” the blackbird greeting you every day by the pool. The barmen were so friendly, as were the management team. We realised we needed a car which we hired after a couple of days, but the taxi service was good. 10 days wasn’t enough so we hope to return for a longer stay

I had a super nice stay at Ocean Blue Resort. The whole resort is super beautiful, the pool with pool bar was amazing, it was so relaxing while looking out to the ocean. The room was really nice and super clean. The restaurant was really nice with good food. All the staff was super super nice and accommodating, making sure that everything was perfect for you. I would absolutely recommend staying here.
