The best part of the hotel is the breakfast and the staff providing it. The restaurant reception hostess, Jannat and every single one of her colleagues are amazing and make the stay in the hotel very enjoyable. I would have changed hotels as I was there for a longer stay but didn't because breakfast was the best part of my day (food was great and varied, atmosphere is great and staff is very attentive and natural)

SingaporeI would have liked a room with a better view...and when I got into the room the housekeeping hadnt left the room tidy . The garbage bin was on the writing desk. These things matter. Housekeeping staff need to be a bit more careful. The next day as well even when I left a Room Make Up sign outside it had to be an extra call to get my room cleaned.
The hotel is very well located and excellent F&B. Especially the breakfast. The staff are beyond courteous and helpful and as a single woman traveller they took extra care that I was safe and comfortable.

United KingdomThese are only some minor gripes which hopefully the hotel could improve on. - The hot water is good but could be better, maybe another 1 or 2 degrees hotter would be ideal. - As above, on the first night, the water when showering leaked through under glass door, although this was resolved swiftly. - On the last night, we noticed there were a couple of mosquitos in the room. Although very difficult to control in a country like Bangladesh, I think it'd be better if housekeeping would spray some aerosol every day. Despite these minor gripes, we'd rate the stay 9/10. This is our 2nd time at Amari Dhaka. The overall stay was fantastic. - The check-in process was smooth. - The room was very clean (my family have OCD with cleanliness). - The room was quiet and very comfortable. - The breakfast buffet was great, there were a lot of options and the waiters/waitresses were very attentive and polite, even having conversations with them. - Staff gave us recommendations on where to visit and where to buy mitai/mishti (Premier Sweets) and you will not be disappointed. - Hotel has a 24 hour restaurant lobby which is handy when you want to wind down at the end of a busy day. - Their hot chocolate is bliss! We did have an issue on the first night, the water when showering leaked through under glass door. We did tell reception and they swiftly resolved it, which was great. But a word of caution, just put a towel under the door just in case.
