It was an excellent experience. Specially Mr Akib was very helpful though no authorized person from the hostel was not available while check in. But they were very helpful and solved the issues over phone with their care taker.

Very clean - Super nice staff - Many restaurants & cafés are within 200m walking distance - Super convenient location - if you want to go to old dhaka, the metro is a 5 min drive away & only takes 40 min by metro to go there & hostel is only 10 min drive away from the airport

This was my first hostel experience in dhaka and I have to say it was worth every single penny. First of all for Dhaka prices it was cheap with a 5 star service and facility. Absolutely loved it and would come back again :)

There were no one for housekeeping. Once a bed is being vacant then someone should change the bedsheets, pillow cover etc. I guess everyone should get a locker free of charge to keep the valuable items and money.

The location was good. The place is clean too.

1. Awful check in experience. I decided to try this hostel in Bangladesh because a friend stayed here and rated it good. I booked a bed in the female dormitory, but there was already a male guest there. After some discussion, the staff decided to moved the male guest to another room, but later on I found out that more male guests were supposed to check into the same room that day, I was confused about the purpose of the initial move. I insisted on getting the accommodation I had booked, or else I would switch to another hotel. (I already started searching hotels nearby.) Eventually, after the manager's approval, the staff arranged a vacant room for me with bunk beds on the balcony, which was okay, except that when I was exhausted and wanted to rest, the staff was still slowly tidying up the room and fixing the fan. Upon arrival, the staff introduced me to the prices of the beds, but I had informed him that I had booked through Booking.com with a fixed price. After checking in, he still asked me to choose a price for the bed, which puzzled me. I wasn't sure if it was an unwritten rule of the hostel or just his mistake, but I insisted on paying according to the order. He took the money and kept the change without asking me, I asked for my change he just smiled and left, ridiculous. 2. Terrible bathroom. The bathroom door was see-through, which made me very uncomfortable, I had to hang my clothes behind it for privacy while taking a 1 minute shower. 3. The staff's manner was poor. He remained shirtless indoors and disregarded my request to cover up. He even brought a male friend into the hostel and let him stay in my room while I was out, again ridiculous. He moved my shoes without asking me, but I caught him in the moment and i requested him not to touch my things. (I've never seen any hostel staff touch guests' belongings before.

The mattress and bedding were comfortable; I slept on the top bunk with a large fan, so it was quite cool, but the bottom bunk might be hot.

1. To know the price for an airport pickup from the hostel, you need to first let the hostel know your whatsapp or skype account. 2. The visa-on-arrival at DAC after midnight in my case took more than 1.5 hours and I found no hostel pickup thereafter, because the hostel pickup was there and cannot wait that long. 3. The airport WiFi at DAC did not work with my cell phone at that night of my arrival, so whatsapp/skype did not work for me either. 4. I called the hostel's Tel. printed on my booking.com confirmation, unfortunately that Tel. Nr. was not reachable at that midnight of my arrival in DAC. 5. No local SIM-card was procurable at that midnight in DAC, but indeed, a Jägermeister drinks from duty free shop is procurable at midnight !? Believe it or not.

Close to the airport: 200 to 300 Bangladeshi Taka (approx. USD 2-3 ) with a Tuktuk for approx. 20 - 30 minutes from hostel to the airport. Friendly receptionist, good furnished kitchen with drinking water and breakfast provided free. Clean room. Local street food and good restaurants are all closeby Super markets and a bank ATM are a few minutes away on foot. A metro station is reachable by Riksha, though it would be a good idea to use google-map to help the riksha to find your destination on your way back to the hostel.
