For check in you need to go first to another address to colect the key, it is about 10-15 minutes walk

The thing I loved the most was common area, the design is really cool, it has the most interesting interior of all hostels I ever stayed in. The dorm room is simpler but also everything was fine

Unfortunately no reception at hostel. They use digital keys which they didn't send it to me at the first place. I was locked out at the entry in the rain. Staff claimed that they don't have the email to send it onward as I booked from booking.com. , but they could have asked in the message here which is not an excuse. During my stay, there was issue with the lock at my room again, I can't access the room with the digital key. After I called the hostel hotline, staff can't even open it from their computer as well, she said that there is nothing she could do and asked me to knock the door. Thank god someone is sleeping insides the room. After knocking for almost 10mins , someone opened the door for me finally. ( it was 6pm). Imagine everyone is out, I will have no chance to take anything inside the bedroom locker.

You don't have a bed assigned to you, so you basically just choose one from the available ones. However, it is sometimes not easy to understand which exactly is the available one as people that check-out don't always take their sheets to the laundry basket (please don't be this person). When I came there seemed to be no free bed as there was none that was cleaned and with fresh sheets. Roommates showed me the one that was supposedly free because they saw the guest leaving, but old sheets were still in place and the cleaners did not change them so it must be confusing for them as well. Luckily there were fresh sheets in the corridor so I could just replace them myself. This hostel does not have a reception or permanent staff to clarify/assist if needed.

Liked: location, common areas, private bathroom in our room, elevator, online check-in. Location - as central as it can be for tourists, when you exit you can basically see the main square. You can check-in online which is a big plus but for some reason it was confusing for some of the guests, you should read the instructions and check your emails. The common areas were very decent but keep in mind that they close the common room for the night and you are also not allowed there with foods and drinks. The reception, if needed, is in the other hostel (in between this one and the North Station). P.S. If you are a tourist don't just stay in the center, Brussels is very decentralized and has much to offer outside the core central area.

The location was EXCELLENT! Couldn’t have asked for better honestly! The dorms were neat and clean. The bathrooms were also clean (which is a big thing for me). I met some people from all over the world which was lots of fun - would definitely recommend The Classic by 2GO4 - Grand Place to any solo female traveller!

You need a mobile with internet to open the doors. I imagine those come without a valid simcard or lost their mobile. They don't have any attendant to open the door in this case.

Super tiny bathroom and toilet. If you're a larger bodied person this would be a big issue. The digital key and check in is not something I'd opt into if I had a choice - what if your phone dies or you run out of data or it's stolen? No way of getting into hostel and no reception person onsite to let you in.

Very clean and stylish space, handy location, towels and linens provided. Great communication online. Great facilities.

You had to check in at a separate location 1km away( which wasn't mentioned in the description). No staff onsite. The room was overheated and stuffy if you didn't leave a window open, which meant the person in that bed froze. The door broke to the room, key card wouldn't work so the owner tapped over the lock to allow us entry but that meant the room wasn't secure.

- The rooms are hot. I was sweating all night. - No humans to do the checking. - They never answered to my messages when I had a question - The bathroom and showers are inside the bedroom, so if somebody go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and has diarrhea, everybody in the room will lisen the noices

According to the reviews, I walked to the other site just for check in, which turned out to be unnecessary as the key was online? key. Would have been better with a clear notice ahead as it's hard to carry luggage all by yourself on rocky road of brussels.

Common room was nice. Right next to Grand palace, perfect location. Key was online which is nice but also not comfy to travelers who just arrived and might be having issue with wifi connection.

There is no reception, to open the door you need wifi. Sometimes, wifi is slow so you end up waiting outside or for the door to open.

Check-in process was a bit confusing. You don't have to go to the other location to check-in anymore, it's all completely online. And you need your smartphone with you at all times. Also, no assigned beds.. so if you're particular about upper/lower bunks, try to check-in as soon as possible and "reserve" your spot by making the bed and leaving some clothes on the bed itself. And don't forget to drop off the sheets/towels in the laundry baskets on your way out!

It was confusing that I needed to go somewhere else to get my card key, around 15 minuets from the hostel by foot. It should have been stated in the website that I need to get my card key from another location first.

Check in place is way to far, especially if you are coming late at night, it was quite scary to walk all the way from one hostel to another. Codes for keys are not functioning properly, I spent over 20min to unlock the box. For additional night price was way to higher on their reception then on booking. No luggage deposit
