Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LuxembourgIt is not written anywhere that the reception desk closes at 7pm. Actually, in my booking it was written that it works until midnight. Well, it is not a big problem as you can check-in and get your key at their "sister" hotel in 0.5km distance, but still would be nice to mention it in advance.
It is located right in the city center and very easy to find, room was very clean, bed and pillows are comfortable. "Electronic key" is a very nice thing. We did not have breakfast as we needed to leave very early, so can't comment on it.

ZambiaRadiators did not work. The room was very cold. Virtual keys require the phone to be charged which means if it goes off, you get locked out of the hotel and room. The hotel may want to consider putting charging stations in the lobby.

NetherlandsThere were no staff available. We came in and out multiple times a day and never saw anyone on reception. Check in was done via our phone and check out was automatic. In theory this is fine, but when we needed information, there was no one available to provide it. We filled in the online form and received no answer. When we called the number provided, we were sent to another hotel to speak to staff there.
The room was large and comfy. The hotel was right in the city centre, meaning we could pop back quickly and easily. The hotel as a whole was very clean and had everything we needed.

ThailandReceived message to pick up the keys in another hotel, but the staff of that hotel told that I should go strait to Drie Paardekens because the reception was open. I required a quiet (backroom) room and got a room at the street side, first floor. The shower cabinet in bathroom was very small, difficult to enter because the toilet is blocking the entrance of the shower. The toilet is small and very low to the ground..... Not many local TV programs.
The location is in a small street in front of the St Rombouts, the middle of the center and good neighbourhood. Mixed feelings with internet access to hotel and room. You need a smart phone, and don't loose it, or you you can't enter the hotel and call a special service.

South AfricaThere is NO staff on the premises. One has to get the access key from another hotel 400 metres away. That's no fun on a bitterly cold winter's night, with a heavy suitcase. I was also cold in the room.
