It is just a minor thing in comparison to all the positives, but I would like to have a better-lit mirror to do makeup :) It was a bit dark in the room for it.

Ella and her family are very friendly and nice! We immediately felt very welcomed. Ella told us about the city and gave useful tips regarding cafes, restaurants, what to visit, etc. Breakfast was very tasty every day. The property is located on a quiet street and room's windows face inner yard, therefore you get a good sleep. Highly recommended!

The weather could've been better though it was December.

Ella is a wonderful host. She was very helpful in finding the most interesting features in the city. She prepared every morning very good, varied breakfasts to start the day with. The place was very clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Ella's house can be found in the historic town close to the Jan Van Eyck square also close to cafés, tea houses, restaurants and within a few minutes' walk from the historic sights. I can offer to stay in her house while in Brugge with a good heart.

Absolutely nothing.

The property is beautiful. It is decorated with very good taste and has interesting art work all over the B&B. It is extremely well kept and very clean. The owner takes very good care of the property. The breakfasts are wonderful with all you could ever ask for with local products. She also takes the time to give valuable information on Brugge and its history.

Breakfast was superb - fantastic home made granola and confitures and locally sourced cheeses and meats. Location perfect for access to town and car parks. Room was compact but supplied all our needs especially our request for a quiet dark room. Ella is an excellent host and supplied us with lots of help with what to see, where to eat etc which made our very short stay so fulfilling.

Our host was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and our room was beautifully clean and comfortable. We were given lots of good tips for where to go and what to see. Lovely touches like the original artworks and delicious freshly prepared breakfast made this a great place to stay. It was centrally located but quiet and peaceful. I will be recommending it to all my friends and family and we recommend it to you too.

First off, Ella our host was absolutely amazing. She is so lovely and accommodating, she tells you all about the city. She served the most delicious breakfast each morning, a real highlight to our break. She’s a very attentive host, remembering the drinks you like and parts of the breakfast you liked, so much so, I loved the earl grey tea and the next day she left some early grey tea for me in the room. The room was so clean and comfortable. We really couldn’t have had a better stay, thank you Ella

The host was mazing, from providing local knowledge and history of Bruges to the amazing breakfast. Ordered a vegan breakfast and was super happy with the selection and quality of the food. We were told we wouldn't be leaving hungry and we definitely left well fuelled each morning.

Wonderful host who was very welcoming. She gave us a brief history lesson on Bruges when we arrived and each day suggested places in the city for us to visit, including giving us a map and highlighting areas of interest. Each morning breakfast was served with food from the local butchers and bakers with a slight change of cheeses and meats served each day. The street is only a small walk from the main square and transport around the city is very easy

There was nothing we didn't like, it was all good.

Ella our host was fantastic, she gave us such a warm welcome on our arrival and made us a welcome cup of tea and sat with us explained interesting things to do in the area. Our room was accessed by an outdoor staircase with its own small courtyard area with seating for the use of guests which was lovely. The room was a great size and the ensuite shower was massive which I love. There were lovely touches like fresh flowers, cups and saucers instead of mugs with the complimentary tea and coffee and bottled water with glasses, little things that make you feel special. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was in the family dining room which was a light and airy space just like the rest of the property, it consisted of cheese,meat and pate. The meats and pate were all from local butchers and Ella explained how they were all made,we had fresh fruit salad and yoghurt every day and the offer of eggs. Everything is served by Ella and as there are only 2 rooms in the B & B it is a very enjoyable experience. Ella is such a lovely person and everyday had lots of information for us and also lots of lovely stories about her life. 4B is in a good location close to bars and restaurants but very quiet as the rooms are at the back. We have visited Bruges many times and this was the best host we have ever had.

-high room moisture due to open shower and no proper ventilation resulting in cold damp bedding and heaters not working in the first evening. This reduced the quality of our stay considerably. The second night was much better in this regard.
