There was a building site near the room, BUT! In fact the sound proofing is so good we didn't hear it at all. I only mention it to highlight that noise is not a concern at all!

Wim, the host, was incredibly helpful and communicative! He gave us tons of fantastic suggestions, and made sure our stay was just perfect. The location is absolutely ideal, and the room itself is lovely. I can't recommend it enough.

Abiente was really outstanding. Really cute little house which felt so much nicer than a hotel, and beautifully decorated. Super clean, great location, and the common area upstairs was really nice too. The host was really friendly and the personal touches made this a really special stay!

Location amazing in the middle of all you want to do and see in Bruges. Host exceptional and helpful. Room was big and spotless and very comfortable Facilities great and far exceeded our expectations. Free tea and coffee, a lovely little bottle of wine in the room and you could buy alcoholic drinks within the property at reasonable prices.

There is nothing to dislike

Everything about this place was wonderful. The owner Wim was superb and exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is about as good as you could get as well being only 3 to 4 minutes away from the market square or 2 minutes away from The Waffle House. I can't recommend this place enough.

Everything was perfection!

We just loved everything! Wim, the host, was the kindest! He helped us with everything, from how to travel to the location to any recommendations + prepared our room beautifully with champagne and even wrote our name out on the door of our room in Hungarian. These little things count so much! The room itself was so nice, cozy and comfortable. The location was the best, literally few minutes walking distance from everything important and yet very quiet, so perfect for resting! Thank you for everything, Wim! Hope to see you soon! :)

The most welcoming and warm house in Bruges. Wim, our host, was very attentive and helpful. We had a really spacious room with a bath tube. It was authentic and crystal clean. And actually it looks much better than on the photos, so I was surprised and happy to see how cozy and beautiful was our room. The location is just perfect and I couldn’t imagine better. If I ever come back to Bruges, I will definitely chose this place.

Everything was great. There are two rooms in the place, and rooms are not soundproof inside the house, so you can hear when other guests walk to the kitchen or walking out.

Very nice and cosy place located at the historic center, close to the Rozenhoedkaai canal and 5 min walk from Gtote Markt square. Despite being located close to the touristic places the house stands in the quite street and we hear no noises from outside. Host was very pleasant and showed and explained everything. No breakfast served, but there is a shared kitchen with fridge, microwave, electric cattle, coffee maker, egg-cooker and stuffed with utensils, plates, glasses, so you can make your own breakfast or you can go to some place - there are plenty of them around.

Perfect location in the center of the city on a quiet street. Everything within walking distance except for the train station which is about 20 minutes walk away but there is a free shuttle bus to and from the train station that stops on the street where the apartment is. Wim the owner is very friendly and great with advise and recommendations.

Unfortunately the September 2023 heat wave hit when I was visiting and the apartment had no air conditioning so during the day it was barely livable in there. Opening the windows later in the evening helped a lot (there was a good fan provided) but the windows opened to a small courtyard (I think the owner's house?) so then I was very aware of the fact I shouldn't be very loud. Basically if you're planning your visit for hot months, take the lack of AC into account. Kitchen does not have a stovetop (but there is a microwave).

Lovely room (I stayed in the green room), clean and cozy, well-decorated. The shared kitchen area was also incredibly cute. When I came my room had my name on the door which made me feel very welcome and the host provided me with a guidebook and some advice as well. The location of the property is perfect, just a few steps from the most iconic view of Bruges and about 5-10mins from the main square - but also outside of the main old town area so it is quiet at night. In the shared kitchen drinks are provided for a reasonable fee (honor system) so I got to try some belgian beers. I would definitely recommend this place!

The property is super central. Everything is within 6-7 min waking distance. The host makes you feel home and goes an extra step to make you feel more welcomed and special. Getting a bottle of wine in our room was nice surprise

Perfect location. In the Brugge center, close to every sight with simple way from the train station throygh shuttlebus.. It's very comfortable and big room with a courtyard view, its so quiet and so coizy. Upstairs, you find shared kitchen with all you need for cooking breakfast. Next time in Brugge I'll stay only there.
