Was warm, needed to open windows for 2 hrs in late afternoon. There is a screen for this. Then comfortable. N95

Nice breakfast, large room, short walk to center. Comfortable bed. Quiet area. Would return.

The local driving his cherry picker wagon along the cobbles in the middle of the night 😁 Street facing windows could probably do with a noise insulating secondary glazing.

Now our third stay in this very friendly hotel. Great location away from the centre. Comfortable room. Good local restaurants.

The room was a little small but we only stayed the 1 night, and there’s no stand up shower, but hey, I just had a lazy bath instead!

A lovely and small boutique hotel, ideally suited on the ‘outskirts’ of Bruge so as to avoid the bustling city centre, but within easy walking distance of all tourist attractions. Secure parking is available which is a bonus and the breakfast was delicious. And if you want to join in, cycle’s are available too! And as a motorbike rider, there’s even a small secure courtyard to keep your pride and joy off the street and away from prying eyes, so I’ll probably be back.

The price of a view of the canal is occasional traffic noise, but even as a poor sleeper I would definitely go for a canalside room again in this quiet location - the view is glorious. You get to see a procession of horse drawn carts driving into the centre every morning...

There is a bewildering choice of accommodation in Bruges: if you're poring over reviews trying to choose - this is an excellent choice! The hotel is in a great location, it's on a canal less than ten minutes' stroll from the centre, so much quieter but still just as historically picturesque. Our rooms were beautiful, with beams reaching up into the gables and a view of the canal. I think we were kindly upgraded as the season hadn't yet really got going. The hotel manager was extremely friendly and helpful - he booked us taxis, arranged a late check-in and let us store our bags on our last day. The hotel has a calm and quirky atmosphere and we would definitely stay again. Breakfast was lovely - lots of choice. We only had it once because we were making quick exits most mornings and it's something you'd want to take your time over.

Gilles was amazing. He grew up near the hotel and still has family nearby. The places he suggested us to eat that the locals go to and was better than we could have imagined. So helpful in all aspects of our stay. The room was quite comfortable and relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Very lovely old hotel.

    Can't fault this hotel!

Beautiful boutique hotel, unfussy yet with touches of authentic luxury like the gorgeous open fire in the breakfast room, and the exposed beams and sweeping canal views in the bedroom. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay.
