We love this hotel! We stayed there for four nights and everything was perfect. The breakfast was magnificent. Everything you want was on the buffet. Freshly squeezed orange juice and very good coffee. Yes, everything was perfect and we could enjoy the nice breakfast in the beautiful garden. The lovely lady who owned the hotel took very good care of the buffet and everything was so fresh and nice. Our room was fantastic and everything we needed was there. The location was perfect. And we got every information we needed. We love this hotel and will be back!

Everything was to an excellent standard, nothing not to like!

Veronique made us most welcome and made our stay very pleasant. There was a fridge in the room for us to use, a kettle for tea/coffee making, and toiletries in the bathroom. The room and ensuite were very clean and the bed really comfortable. The continental breakfast was good quality and really enjoyable. Location to the main square was excellent, just a few minutes walk away.

There was nothing to fault - this was probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

We had a wonderful holiday at Hotel Algeria. Veronique, the hotel owner, was absolutely the perfect hostess and nothing was too much trouble for her, whether it was advising on places to visit or booking taxis or answering any number of silly questions! The breakfasts were excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice and a wide selection of fruit, cheeses and meats along with crispy rolls, croissants and pastries.

The bedrooms, the bathrooms, the service, the breakfast, the location, the host — if I could give it 11/10, I would. Absolutely fantastic beyond compare. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to return. Thank you so much for the brilliant stay. The host of this property makes it absolutely incredible. Her attention to detail and kindness is amazing. She even ordered us a taxi for the morning, cooked us breakfast and helped the taxi driver with our bags whilst we finished our breakfast. She gave us a very thorough run through when we arrived of the town, special sites to visit and where to have dinner. She is a local and it shows. So very helpful. Thank you again!

We can't say enough about the owner who stayed later than usual to check us in. The property was in a perfect location. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. And even though we had to leave early the next morning before breakfast was served, the owner packed a bag of goodies to go.

Family own superb hotel. Great location 3 min walk to Market Square. The rooms are very nice: clean, lovely decorated with many welcoming details, open spaced and with a lot of light. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful salon. The best of all was the staff, so welcoming since the moment we arrived until the instant we left. Loved this hotel. Will be back for sure.

Love the ambiance in the property. A great central location close to the centre, Belfry and it’s square. The owner was very welcoming and helpful on information about the attractions and other amenities. She allowed us to leave luggage after check out. Sufficient breakfast and comfy room. Would have rated it a 10 but for the slippery shower tray. I would recommend a non slip mat to be in place. Would recommend and return if we visit Bruges again

Hotel Alegria is a charming hotel perfectly situated for exploring Bruges. The breakfast had a wonderful assortment of breads, pastries, cheeses, fruit, etc and was topped off by fresh squeezed orange juice.The rooms were well appointed and spotless. They were able to very comfortably accommodate my family of 7 adults.
